Sporty & Fun!
It's a great car that handles well and has ample power. I love the smoothness and acceleration I get from the 1.5T engine and CVT transmission. Gas mileage is incredible. I usually get an average mpg in the mid 40's on the highway and on road trips. Lots of nice features and tech such as a sunroof, dual climate, remote start, heated seats, heated side mirrors, apple carplay, and blind spot monitoring. I find the seats to be comfortable. They aren't as bad as people make them out to be. My only complaints are the auto start/stop feature, which can't be permanently disabled, and the lack of power seats.

Great car for the $
Since I have occasional lower lumbar back issues, I was hesitant as there is no lumbar option on the 2023 Honda Civic Touring. So far, the gray leather seats are perfect and I am not experiencing any back issues. Before test driving this car, I thought the 1.5 Turbo engine & CVT transmission would not be sufficient but they pleasantly surprised me when entering the interstate highway. I am very happy with the good city and exceptional highway mileage. Body panel fit & Meteorite Gray finish, gray leather seating / interior is nice. I would have given Honda a 5 stars but the following two points are worth mentioning. (1) The carpeting is very thin and Honda could have used more sound deadening insulation to quiet the interior on rough roads. (2) I was disappointed to learn a heated steering wheel is not included with the heated seats.

great compact with some shortcomings
I bought the 2023 Honda Civic Touring new after driving this and 2023 Accord Sport hybrid, the dynamics were similar but the new Accord Styling is definitely a miss, so I got this one. Not sure how the 1.5 turbo is going to hold over time but it is definitely satisfying to drive for the small displacement it is and my last car was a 2007 Honda Accord EXL V6. The downside is road noise at highway speeds and trashy Goodyear Eagle stock tires but aside from this, the handling, dynamics and fuel economy just a tad more than 40mpg when not exceeding 75mph is great.

2023 Civic Sport sedan (2.0) K20C2 / CVT
2023 Honda Civic Sport pro's 1.) The engine (K20C2) it is the most reliable 4 cyl on the market right now! 2.) Gets above average gas mileage 34.5mpg in the city & 37mpg on the highway! 3.) ease of DIY maintenance and cheap replacement parts compared to the 1.5T! 4.) The CVT transmission is more than adequate to respond to your throttle inputs, also just remember to change the transmission fluid with HCF-2 cvt fluid every 25k miles. 5.) Lastly, the chasis handles like a Accord with its smooth flat steering response with the 18's that come stock on the sport trim. Con's 1.) No manual E-brake. 2.) Prone to rock chips on the paint and windshield. 3.) Have to enable auto start stop to (off) every start up. 4.) Highway passing power isn't the most robust leaving some to be desired. 5.) Subpar audio system... Honda's stock 8 speaker system is a 6/10! In conclusion, I enjoy my Honda especially since it is the most reliable economy car that has a great handling chasis as this 11th civic does. I plan to keep this car a long time and will do oil changes every 3-4k miles with 0W-20 Valvoline Full synthetic extended protection with a Mobil1-110A synthetic oil filter or a Fram Ultra synthetic 7317!!! Also, Change the transmission fluid every 25k miles with Honda genuine HCF-2 cvt fluid and only do a fluid change, no flush.... Lastly, I always put my E-brake on before I park so help the transmission along with letting the car warm up at least 30 seconds before driving off and driving easy for the first 15 minutes.

Very poor exterior paint quality
Very poor quality control on the paint jobs of these Civic’s. I have a black 2023 and the paint looks horrible with a dull look and lots of orange peel. The bumper still has buff marks from where it looks like the factory tried to fix the dull paint. Very disappointed in Hondas paint quality.

Great but one drawback
I love this car. The color is beautiful (morning mist metallic), and it drives great. The sports mode is very strong, even my dad who rides a BMW was impressed. Economy can get you 40+ on the highway. It is comfortable for a person like me with back issues (disks in lower back) even on long rides and the Lane Keep makes it really easy on highways. Audio quality is great even without the Bose, and the carplay is very usable. Now the biggest drawback for me: THE CRUISE CONTROL! It always leaves so much space even on the smallest distance keeping setting. This leaves enough room for some swerving inpatient driver to cut in front of you (thinking theyll get to their destination so much faster...yeah right). And when they do cut you off, it starts braking fairly uncomfortably, and then leaves the same amount of space as before...So of course another idiot will come along and cut in front of you!!! AND ITLL SLAM THE BREAKS AGAIN. And all this quickly becomes annoying because it just becomes a loop of : get cut off, car brakes and its not smooth, then it starts speeding up to match speed, then someone else comes along ETC... Not suitable for fairly dense highways for this reason. On emptier roads, very good and its awesome that it matches speed.

Don’t buy higher trims
This is a solid car with excellent handing. The interior is good for a base car. Exterior looks good. The digital instrument cluster is cool as is having wireless Apple CarPlay. Bose system is adequate. Actually the best Bose system I’ve ever heard. Now for the cons of purchasing a top tier $31500 Civic. * Dealership was horrible trying to add a 9k markup!! I didn’t budge and even scored 1500 off the MSRP. Don’t pay anything over MSRP or simply walk. They wanted ~40k for a Civic! * Dealer didn’t follow through with the promise to tint the windows. * The road noise and vibration is inexcusable for a car costing this much. It’s bad folks. * Exterior fit and finish is poor. The hatchback is so much worse. * The interior carpet isn’t carpet…it’s more like the jute typically under the carpeting. * Rear camera resolution should be embarrassing for Honda. * Lots of interior pieces buzzing on rough roads. * No lumbar seat adjustment (Google the complaints about this one!). This top trim screams cheap at every corner. If you to improve all cons above, go with Mazda. Would I buy again…yes but only the base model as a daily driver. this is an economy car and buying higher trims is a waste and you’ll be disappointed.

2023 Civic Touring
I absolutely love this car!! So many great safety features, 34-36 MPG, 3 drive modes… it’s amazing! I would suggest getting the grey interior instead of black, it adds a bright feel to the car when you get in!
Wow.....What a car!!!
First of all, if you are thinking about buying an Accord, you need to look at the 2023 Civic, first. This car is incredibly roomy inside. The cabin is upscale. The dash is amazing. It is quiet and smooth on the road. I do not hear the whine of the engine at all. It handles bumps in the road like a larger car. Also, the 2.0 liter engine has plenty of power, both around town and on the highway. Don't believe the reviews that say it is under powered. It has plenty of power with the way Honda has the CVT tuned. You can also use the sport mode when you need a little more power. I have owned about 40 cars in my lifetime, including numerous Civics and Accords, and this is one of my favorite cars, if not my very favorite. I cannot believe I got a car as upscale as this Civic is, for the price I paid. The infotainment center is easy to figure out. All of the tech features are intuitive. The speedometer display is easy to figure out and customize to your liking. The car looks sophisticated and refined, yet still sporty. This is a great family sedan.

Gorgeous car, but you’ll need a chiropractor!!
I absolutely love the styling of this car inside and out!! I opted for the lunar silver in the touring model, first Honda I’ve ever owned, and what a disappointment. First, let me say I purchased this car for gas savings and it was one of the few cars on the market that weren’t price gouging! I said that to say I didn’t compare other cars in this segment. However, that shouldn’t matter for this price point and when Honda can do better. Honda didn’t bother to give you an option for lumbar support or a decent seat in any class of this civic, I’m 5’11, 42y/o and cannot get comfortable at all! Legroom is about an inch short, constant back pain, the lower part of your back will have no support at all! I’ve tried various pillow types, non have worked.. I’ve been to the chiropractor several times since I’ve purchased this car, now it’s parked and I’ve gotten back in my truck. So be warned! I’ll jump to the road noise for a bit, I’m not even sure if they have any sound deadening in the flooring at all, if they due it’s paper thin!! The tires are all season Goodyear which I’m sure makes this worse!! If I keep the car long enough to change tires, I guess I’ll find out! I’m sure I’ll trade and eat the negative equity at some point! The drivers who don’t live in areas where the idiots opt to use coarse pavement won’t have issues, smooth surfaces are great! The engine and power are spot on, and I’ve had no mechanical issues as of yet (3200 miles). There are some personal things that, well just irritate me that some won’t even care about in no certain order.. lane assist isn’t worth using, system warnings are too low even at max volume when the radio is on, Honda link app for this car is a joke!! Remote start is only useable via key fob, but u have to be in eyesight of the car when using or u won’t know it worked (parking lights flash 3x) then the whole car is dark. I’m not a fan of the windshield wiper change mode, nor the washer system. There’s no digital gauge to display tire pressure, but you will get a warning a tire is low.. could be either one of the 4.. those are some minor gripes I have that just to me are noticeable but not punishable.. I will add another major complaint is very thin paint!! I was standing near my car parked under a tree when an acorn fell out of the tree bounced on my hood and gave me 2 chips, fingernail deep!! This is my take on the car, if you don’t have back issues and like the styling just try to ask to keep it for a day or two before purchasing!! You’ll love the styling, peppy, great sized car if you can handle the rest!!

Best Civic Ever But Missing Things
This is by far the most comfortable and stylish Civic ever made. It also rides smoothly, but I have to say that it lacks Blind Spot Monitoring and Frontal Collision warning. Backing up there is a camera, but there is no warning of any objects in the area or cars passing. A much improved Civic but skimped on needed safety measures.
Sporty fun
Good fun car with good fuel economy but still sporty. Only downsides would be lack of feedback on remote to notify remote start and wished there was a app for remote start

Worst Honda Civic LX I've owned
The car over-all does not drive smoothly. It doesn't have a sporty look or feel. The navigation has gone out multiple times, the steering wheel shakes terribly when you go out of your lane, the gas mileage I'm averaging on the highway is 28 miles, which is way down from my other Civics. If it's raining very hard or slightly foggy, then it let's you know that most drivers assist aren't going to work. That never happened in my 2021 Honda Civic. It's also very noisy on the highway. I would give anything to have my old 2021 back. Very disappointed, and I really hope Honda doesn't keep going in this direction, as I love Honda all-around.

14K Miles with serious issues
I purchased a Honda Civic Sport 2023 new from Autofair Honda of Manchester New Hampshire. On the ride back home from the dealership, the Bluetooth in the car was cutting in and out when I was listening to my music on my iPhone 13, which is by no means a dated phone right now. At 500 miles, it didn't start when I was leaving for work. It took a couple tries to get it going. The car is now at 14k miles and it hasn't started 5-6 times throughout my ownership. My newest issue is my slipping CVT transmission, which jutters and jerks sometimes when slowing down and accelerating. I've brought the car to Honda 3-4 times to address both the engine and transmission problems and they say everything is working perfectly fine and they couldn't find an issue. I am definitely not keeping this car past warranty. It's a ticking time bomb for an expensive fix.

A bumpy ride
The car is beautiful the leather is soft snd the power of the engine is great, wish I had a heated steering wheel though like my much cheaper ford focus had because it can get really cold. I say the ride is bumpy because you feel every bump on the road I took it back to the dealership they said nothing is wrong with the car it’s probably the low profiled tires. I wish I would’ve got the Honda Accord. The civic’s front seat is kind of small I’m a plus sized gal so the more roomier Accord with the smoother ride would’ve been a better fit guess the Accord is going to be my next car. Also I really don’t like the lane assist sometimes it pulls the car out of the lane I think it could cause an accident hopefully there’s a way I can turn it off. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience.

Mediocre...
Not exactly what I'd expect from Edmunds Top Rated Awards car choice for 2023. Prior to heading to the dealer for a test drive, I went through several reviews, both good and not so good, just to get a sense of other owners experience. After having driven tested the new Civic I couldn't agree more with many of the other drivers complaints, particularly related to road noise, which is prominent, and driver seat comfort, especially the lack of lumbar support and tight seat. I didn't have enough time behind the wheel to experience any of the other issues with the infotainment system, but obviously the driving aids tend to be on the overeactive side, which can be more an annoyance than assistance. The 1.5 turbo is punchy but the CVT lagging initial response tells me that a CVT might not the best match for this engine. (The 6 sp.manual may be a better choice). Yes, I agree, the Civic is fan to drive around town but not what I'd choose to drive in my long commutes, let alone my road trips... All in all, not my favorite Civic. Fortunately in this price segment there's plenty of choices with similar road manners and comfortable ride (Mazda 3 here I come...)

Awesome car
We had for almost 2 years, we use this car for weekends and highway trips. For 2 people it is very roomy, controls easy to use. We went with 2 liter with no turbo and get 39 mpg, we love driving this car and a great car for the money

Nice car with issues
I overall like the car. Rides smooth. Looks great. Just annoyed with the reliability. Had the sticky steering issue at about 20k miles. They replaced the steering rack. Issue came back at 35k miles. Waiting for the recall parts now. Currently at 36,900 and my head gasket just blew. A little nervous what the future of this car holds. Sad because I really like the car.

Honda driver
The new Civic sport is decent and saves gas but it's definitely not like my 2019 Accord 2.0 turbo. The turbo makes a huge difference. It also did not come with xm radio or power seats. It did come with almost every other options for driving. If you don't care about the turbo or xm this makes a really good car.

My New Blue Thunder
I like the color and electronic display. The seats are comfortable. The ride is smooth and it handles well. A dislike may be that I might pay more for gas, even though the gas mileage is pretty good.
Love my new lease!
I really like my leased car. It was a major upgrade from what I had before. A lot of the features are easier to understand than what I thought they would be.
