Having upgraded from a Chrysler to a Honda, the first thing to note is the engine performance. The Chrysler I owned was very sluggish, had a lot of lag when accelerating, and did not farewell in the city. The Civic on the other hand has been a dream the last 1000 miles. While there is a small amount of lag, if you ask it to go, it'll go. The engine overall is nice and quiet, doesn't 'hiccup' and responds nicely to both throttle, and breaking input. On top of that the gas mileage on it is the best I've had of the few cars I've owned. Right now it's doing around 7.3L/100Km (~32 mpg), and I'm not the nicest to the throttle. The a/c on it blows cold, even on a low setting, and thanks to the small (But large feeling interior), the car cools down quickly even in the hot Arizona summer. I love the sleek redesign the 10th Gen Civic's received, and the variety you have to choose from. Due to budget constraints, I had to elect the CVT base model, but even then it's a great car. It drives nicely, has easy to use controls, and while everything is right there for you on the dash, it doesn't feel crowded. I would have chosen a different color interior, but the cloth and carpets are very nice. The seats are extremely comfortable and there is a lot of leg room even with the front seats all the way back. While I am disappointed in the lack of a CD player and tape deck (Not surprised, no one uses tapes) the audio system is great. The biggest thing I would change about the car is just the panel to panel and panel to window gaps. They're a bit large.

Honda Civic LX
Car is very reliable, great on gas. Love the pearl metallic in black exterior paint which makes the car look burgundy-ish in the sun.

2018 Honda Civic
The first car I ever loved was a Mazda but the customer service was terrible. It left a bad impression on me. Then I got a Honda. I had strangers tell me a couple times how reliable of a brand it is, which I didn’t know. The customer service was better than I imagined. It’s a reliable car, comfortable, and easy to care for. Overall, the best car I’ve ever had. I’m most likely going to stick with this brand for the rest of my life, which says a lot because I’m not even 30.
