I have had this car only 1 month. It has good power and I drive it mostly in Sport mode. Ride is somewhat stiff which is what I want and expect for a sporty car. Fuel mileage has been about 32 for the first 2 fill ups. The seats are great. Very good support and they fit my body and height. My previous 2 cars were a Prelude and an Acura RSX-S. The turbo has a totally different power range than the VTEC engine of course. Prelude was my all time favorite car. This comes real close and being just fun to drive every day. My Si in now 3.5 years old. I have less than 20,000 miles. I love this car. 5/18/2023 Love the car. 2 door is no longer available. Glad I got it 23,000 miles . So fun to drive. 11/27/2024 I still love this car. Just rolled over to 28,000 miles. Very reliable and so fun to drive.

Ext/cvt or Si/6sp manual ??

I bought a new 2017 Civic EXT with the CVT transmission. I loved it except for the automatic transmission it seemed there was a 2 or 3 second lag time from when I stepped into the gas until the car went down the road quite quickly. After a couple of emergency accelerations I decided the automatic had to go. When I took the car for the 20000 mile service I drove an SI model. The S I had 30 more horsepower and a manual transmission. When I left the dealership I owned the Si . Now with 20,000 miles on it I am still very much in love with this car. The CVT transmission is not for me.

This is the latest Civic Si, I've owned a 1985, and a 2002. I traded in my 2016 Accord coupe for this. So happy I did! Amazing value, nice bells and whistles, but it's still a civic. In the 17000+ miles I've gone, I'm getting 34-35 mpg! Not too powerful, but Sporty and Very Fun to drive!

A Blast to Drive From Day One!

If you enjoy a fun car for 2 or less, this is a good choice. My other car is a Miata-X5 . . . I wanted to enjoy my driving experience to the max! My everyday car is the Si . . . I have been a loyal Honda fan since 1992, and will only drive manual transmission cars. My gas mileage is averaging at 40+ mpg. Couldn't be happier. Have owned the car for more than a year!

If you want performance at a bargain price plus the fun of being part of the driving experience it is hard to beat. Just drive a Honda SI and you'll see what I'm talking about
