Used 2015 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Hard Ride
2015 Honda EX Ride is terrible hard. This is not right. I see posts with the same problem. Unacceptable Honda not going to like me. Honda owner's need to get together and get on Honda to fix it.
Very good, not great
I have driven Accords/Acura since 1985. I like many things about this car. Positives are power (6 cylinder), little engine noise, and technology. I especially like the right sided camera. Bumpy ride compared to my former car (1999 Acura TL). Mileage is great on the highway in Eco mode (about 30 MPG), but poor (less than 20 MPG in Eco mode) for city driving. No problems with car now 3 years after purchase.

Design flaw in the doors
This is my third Accord. I can't say enough good about my 1997 and my 2007. I like my 2015 well enough, but I feel like some quality was sacrificed, maybe in exchange for the upgraded technology. Most notably, there is a design flaw in the doors. Whether I run my car thru the car wash, or use the do-it-yourself spray wand, soap and water collects under the bottom seal. After every wash, I have to open all the doors and wipe residual soap and water from the door jams and seals. It's like Honda wants the car to rust. My prior Accords' paint held up really well. My new car's finish is already looking cloudy on the doors and fenders.

I'll drive this car into the ground...
Bought my EX-L v6 with navi in July. I just did a 3000 to Houston and back. The vehicle's performance was great . I was shocked getting 35+ mpg doing 75+ mph on the trip. The v6 is great to have and made acceleration effortless. My only regret was not getting the v6 sport to have a better performing tight suspension.

I love this Accord!
While I've been an Accord fan for almost 40 years, the various models had varying appeal based on the styling and ride of that generation. The 2012 redesign, and the recent 2016 refresh, are the most appealing versions of the Accord since the sleek 1988 generation. I have a 2015 Accord that I've driven 21000 in one year. I love looking at the car, and I love driving it. It's responsive 4-cylinder engine is amazingly powerful, and the CVT transmission helps this car get 37 mpg on the highway. I can get over 500 miles per tank when I mostly drive on the highway. The steering, corner handling, braking, and road feel are as good as an Accord I've ever driven. It's comfortable and dependable for short or long drives. The seats start to get uncomfortable after about 4 hours of driving, but are far superior to the seats of the 2010 model I used to drive. I got a great value on this car, too. It was basically at dealer invoice price. The Accords don't demand MSRP and above like they once did, so you can probably make a great deal on one. I hope to continue driving this car for many more years. UPDATE: 5-28-17 After two years driving this car I still love it as much as the day I bought it. While the 2016 and 2017 Accords have added a few amenities and offer the Honda Sensing (a feature I wish I had), I still feel this EX has all the main equipment I need. I sometimes miss a leather interior, but not on cold winter mornings before the seats heat up. My mileage contibues to average 35-40 on the highway and about 30 overall. It feels powerful upon acceleration even in Eco mode. Honda has done an excellent job balancing performance and fuel economy. The fancier EX has a second display screen and screen-based audio controls, but I actually prefer the buttons and knobs on this EX. Buttons are simple and work every time and you don't smudge up the screen with fingerprints. I love the electric start and smart lock feature so that I never have to take out my keys. I still recommend the Honda Accord to any interested buyer. They are also much cheaper and a better value than SUVs and trucks nowadays. UPDATE: 11-24-17 While I loved my Accord, there was a defect in the spoiler installation by a dealer that caused the trunk to leak. It would have cost several hundred bucks to repair, so I traded it on a 2017 Accord Hybrid with a big discount off sticker. I will submit my review of that car soon (so far I’m very pleased).
