2006 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

2006 EX-V6 Auto-5speed. This is my second Accord and 3rd Honda. The engine is very powerful and responsive. I'm currently averaging 25mpg in mixed driving and 28 on mostly highway. The interior is fairly quiet: the front seats offer lots of support and the rear seats have more than ample leg room for a 6+ footer. The Grade Logic transmission takes some getting used to during deceleration. No regrets in the purchase, though.

This car was built in good quality. However, this vehicle's design is absurd because Honda tried to reduce manufacturing cost. Despite the poor materials used, people love this just because of its reputation...

Bad Seats

I got the lowest model - the LX - and the seats are horrible. They are very stiff and there is no lumbar adjustment. If you have a bad back I would not recommend this vehicle. Overall the car runs and looks great! I am just disappointed that Honda makes such a great car with horrible interior. Also, the brakes are a little touchy.
Damaged goods

Car was damaged when I purchased it from the dealer. It started showing signs of rust on the passenger door just behind the hinges. Dealer said he was aware of the problem when I purchased the certified used car, The car was only 2 months old when I bought the car. I contacted Honda and they stated that it was not their problem.

I bought this accord brand new in Monrovia. The only problem I had was cheap arm rest had came unattached and the brake rotors would warp after excessive freeway usage. No other problems with the car from day one until totaled. I do have to say this is a safe car. First accident was striking a box spring and spare tire on the highway ripped front bumper right off. 2nd accident totaled car, rear end impact at 50 mph! Was able to walk out of the car shaken up and unhurt. I would have to say I would buy another Honda Accord when the time for me to buy another car comes around. it's a good everyday car to run around, commute, errands, or go out in. Good price for the piece of mind.
