had it for 4 days and radio light went b
Hi, i just bought a used 04 honda accord ex with only 49,000 miles on it. The car has power and it drives really nice. The only problem that i have had is that the radio backlight just went dim. I guess this is a known problem with this year Accords.and the dealer said they would fix it. Other then that I hope to have a good time with this ride because I like it and Hondas are supposed to be good cars.
Beautiful car
Very little difference from the 2003 except for the addition of XM satellite radio. A beautiful car with a great ride, and a very good price considering all the bells and whistles. Am very pleased with this purchase and plan to drive this car (our fourth Honda) for a very, very long time.

Great car
My first Honda. Great car so far, 2300 miles. 32 mpg hwy 26 in city. We bought a red one and get many possitive comments on the color. My wife really likes it.
Bad Gas Fuel Economy for my Accord
Compared to my previous car was a Nissan Maxima. I love the soft quiet ride and the sound system is SUPERB. I love this version of the red color and the styling. The only thing stopping this from being a perfect car is the horrendous gas mileage ( I get between 14 to 16 MPG highway which is 80% of my driving). I learned from the Service Manager at the Dealer that is apparently a common problem with Accords which is contrary to the representations on the sticker and all the literature. To make it worse, I am told that fuel mileage is NOT COVERED by the warranty and for them to work on it could get very expensive fast. All this after spending $20K.
Should have gotten the V6
I was disappointed in the pick-up from dead stop, the rev counter reached the red mark in first gear, the engine whines but the car wasn't moving. Guess I should have gotten the V6. Merging into highway traffic, however is a pleasure, as the car has no problem keeping up with other vehicles once it has the running start. The seats are very comfortable for long drives, all all controls are easily accessible.
