Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
First Honda
I never thought I would buy a Honda but when I first saw the options availabe on the new Accords I was very impressed. The nav system really grabbed my attention. The ride is smooth and comfortable while still giving that in control sporty feel. It has more horse power than most other cars in its class and it comes through when you hit the pedal. The car is actually for my wife as I am a Ford Truck man, but I really like to drive this car. The final item to put me over the top was the price, I could never get into another car with as many great features for the $27k I paid. I only have about five hundred miles on the car so far but have no second thoughts.
Paid Great Price
Bought a 2004 EX V-6 Sedan painted white. White is the best color, for when you add makeup to the car, like a woman, she looks beautiful. The seating comfort is unreal--very comfortable. I also own a 1999 Accord V-6 Sedan, and it can't compare to my 2004. The V-6 power in the 2004 is unreal, especially when passing another vehicle on the highway. The gas mileage is even better then my 1999. However, Honda could have done a better job on the design. One more thing, when I start the car, it sounds like I am starting a 4 cyl. My 1999 sounds completely different.

EX-trordinary
Great commuter. All controls readily at hand, and move with precision. Efficient use of space throughout cabin. Controls and displays top notch. No problems with build quality (squeaks, rattles-as posted elsewhere). Enjoy the refined engine and 5-speed manual transmission. Have peace of mind that comes with Honda's reputation. Wonderful job by Honda engineers in all facets of design.
Brakes and rotors: F = Ma -dness?
This car has a host of outstanding features--excluding the ABS and hydraulics. The rotors seem to degrade very quickly: The first owner was able to wipe them out after 25M! I had had the rotors resurfaced (twice!), but there are still problems, probably because they are so thin now. Now I can't bed-in the brakes, which could mean trouble on the freeway or in dense city traffic because of the huge stopping distance.
