Used 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Consumer Reviews
You're driving an accord !
When driving an accord , don't expect a sportiness or exhilarating ride, just look at how much you paid for it. It's a very reliable car with an excellent fuel economy (53/mpg) for my daily drive to work. I own a GTR and Miata for my fun factor and the accord can never ever be a toy car. It's very economical and a reliable drive from point A to B without much drama or fuss . Great value for money, highly recommended . If you want a fun drive, get something else.

Comfortable and efficient
2017 EX-L now 2 years old and at 41,414 miles. Winters in AZ we average 48 mph. This summer we are getting 46-47 per onboard computer. I drive 350 miles per week for work and it’s 35-70 mph on city streets and paved country roads. I use cruise control as much as possible. ECON mode always on and B mode is used often. AC at all times in summer too. Change oil at dealer every 10,000 miles with Pennzoil Platinum or Ultra when available. One thing we have noticed is that the engine/CVT hates elevation changes and heat. A drive from our other home in Utah to the ski resort 15 miles away and the car screams for help. Granted it is a 2,000 ft climb in 10 miles. In the AZ summer when the temps are over 110, the car is sluggish and won’t accelerate smoothly for several miles. I swear it feels like it’s starved for fuel and it lurches forward. Does it when tank is full or 1/2 full. We exclusively use Shell or Chevron. But 95% of the time it is flawless. We are happy. We have ‘12, ‘15 & ‘17 Accord EX-L’s. This is our first hybrid. Time will tell if it was worth the cost.

Love this hybrid
This is my 4th hybrid so I’m stranger to finding how to get most gas out of this 2017 accord. It took a while to figure out how to get the most mpg’s when I first bought my first hybrid so for anyone reading this if it’s your first hybrid give it some time you’ll learn how to get the most mpg’s. I’m getting around 42 miles combined mpg and I do step on the pedal in Los Angeles driving the car is smoother than last 3 hybrids I’ve owned and the size of this accord is bigger than most hybrids for the price they I drove off with my touring for 29k it’s a five star car.
Cargo/Storage ?? Where did it go.
Loved the car--the looks, the handling, and the performance. Overall the car looked classy, couple that with Honda's reputation, I thought we had a winner. However, when it came to cargo/storage space we had a problem. With the hybrid batteries located in the forward part of the trunk it made loading two sets of golf clubs and bags virtually impossible. Also, we have to carry a massage table on occasion which would not fit because the rear seat backs do not fold forward because of the hybrid batteries. I hope this helps. Hoping the new 2018 hybrid model takes some of these complaints into account.

Don't do it!!!
First and foremost, I am Honda obsessed. With the exception of my very first car when I was 16, I've only owned (and loved) Hondas. However, I'm deeply regretting my most recent purchase. I have a brand new, beautiful to look at 2017 Accord Hybrid that I HATE. It's loud, the drive is jerky and feels unstable, and does not at all feel like a Honda. I've been ressured that there is nothing technically WRONG with the car, "It's Just the way the hybrid drives". And I got better gas mileage with my 2015 Accord, though they assure me my MPG's will go way up once I hit 1000 miles or so. Either way, HUGELY disappointed with a very severe case of buyers remorse. It's going to be a very long 36 months.
