Money pit 2.8 Duramax
I have had my canyon for not even a year. It's been in the shop for an exhaust sensor that cost me over $300 to have it replaced. The second time it was in the shop for a bad turbo. This time it cost me over $3000. I'm not to impressed with the truck and I regret buying the Duramax.

2018 GMC Canyon Denali Diesel Duramax
48K blown motor. 2 dealerships could not diagnose the problem. Called GM to come assess. They say water in the oil. The dealership has done all of the repairs, including a recent oil change. They say it is impossible for our service guys to put water in. Why the hell would I put water in? I have Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco-Deisel ([non-permissible content removed] FIAT engine) that lives in the shop. Diesels are not what they used to be. Government has strict regulations in emissions. This should be covered under warranty as it is under the 60K. They say it is not. Top of the line Denali, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY DIESEL
