I have had this vehicle since it had 25K mi., now 156K and hardly any problems of consequence .. unbelievably reliable, still runs smoothly just a bit less power, it didn't have much get up and go to start with anyway.

Best Value for Money

I bought this car based on my previous satisfactory experience with Toyota Corollas, on which this car is based. I bought it at 89,000 miles and it now has 139,500 on the odometer. The only expenses I had to make on the car, other than routine maintenance and tune-ups, were brake jobs front and rear. I experienced a cracked door handle and a broken radio knob. Also, the paint on the front end of the hood came off at some spots, and I observed this on several 1994 models. I guess the car needs new shocks. The car is so reliable that I plan to keep it until it turns 200K miles.

Good little car

I bought mine as a salvage vehicle, and I've had to fix a few random things, and it still has some quirks (can't roll up the drivers-side window if you're going above 45mph) but overall it's been good. When I bought it it had 94K on it, now it has 124K. In that time (15 months), I've bought 2 sets of tires, numerous oil changes, two alignments, transmission, starter, alternator, timing belt, replaced all the other belts and hoses, and replaced the distributor and everything that attaches to it. Besides the tranny, the most $$ repair was the distributor.

I bought my Geo Prizm Used with 70k on it, now it has 107k. I've had not ONE problem with it. Smooth, quiet engine, slick shifting 5-speed, great fuel economy! You can't kill these cars!

I've really enjoyed this car and have had no major problems with it. It's never stranded me and it's run very well. I've only had to replace the alternator twice. It has a cute look to it and I like how the back seat folds down. I can actually put big things in my little car!
