I Don’t Miss My BMW 840

I studied the GV 70 since it first came out and knew this would be my next car. When I finally drove one and looked at the pricing, I couldn’t resist trading my 2020 BMW 840 coupe. I have not been disappointed with the performance of the TwinTurbo V6 and the ride and drive of the car. It’s like a sports car with passenger room. It is ultra quiet but yet when I put it in sport Drive the character changes to a fun sports car. I considered the Porsche Macan S and the BMW M3 but the money was so much more and the equipment was less which made the Genesis a great value. The only downside of it is the gas mileage, which is only 25 mpg on the highway and I was used to my BMW getting 35 mpg mean. The gas mileage is absolutely the only shortcoming on this great SUV. 18 Months and 26000 miles, not one warranty repair. I continue to enjoy this vehicle

Bought in October had transmission issue from the start. I called they can’t find anything in computer. It won’t accelerate coming out of turns. My son thinks it a down shifting problem. But I am disappointed with the brand and service center just talk no help. Thinking of selling before I really have problems.

AWD 2.5 LT Advanced. Silver/brown Int. Great Crossover SUV. 3,000 miles, no issues Love the Drive modes, used Sport driving to the coast/mtns, performed great. Went to the Snow, used snow mode, plowed right thru slippery roads. In Eco mode, been getting 22 MPG overall. The one drawback is gas mileage. Around town, not great, but the power is awesome, so good trade off. Paid $53k, best value in the market.

I have 2023 GV70 2.5T sport prestige trim This car is great looking from outside and luxurious looking from inside however , this car has a major issue currently which is a whining noise coming from the Rear Differential. First started hearing it around 4k miles. Have taken it to the dealership 3 different times and they have replaced rear differential , transfer case all those times and yet the noise just happens to come back within couple of days of me having it back. In the process of having the company buy back the car from me under lemon law act. It's sucha shame that sucha good looking car with good tech and features and they release a recall and fix those faulty diffs and transfer cases. I hope they are reading this and act upon it before they get stain on their Reputation again.

We started out on a waiting list in September of 2022 (which was a joke) waiting for a car that never arrived. By January of 2023 we were taking matters into our own hands and calling dealerships around the country to try and find what we were looking for. We found the car in Las Vegas and picked it up only to have a significant acceleration issue while driving home. The dealer wanted to wash their hands of fixing the issue until we demanded they take ownership in the issue. Our brand new car was at another dealership for service for 3 weeks trying to figure out the problem. Genesis NA and the dealership we bought it from did nothing for us. We were actually told by the Genesis Customer Relations manager to "adjust our expectations". This is not something that you want to hear from a luxury car manufacturer. We finally have our car back and it seems to be fixed but we have lost all confidence in the brand. To call themselves a luxury brand and treat their customers like this is ridiculous. Our interaction with Genesis has been the worst customer service we have experienced. I want to love my new car and all I can do is hope that Genesis can get their act together and treat customers with respect.
