I owned a 2015 G80 before this 2018 and I'd like my 2015 back. I find this car to be very noisey for a luxury car. There is road noise and under car noise. I took it back to the dealer after the first week and he came with me for a road test. He agreed it was pretty noisy. Also the continental tires were developing bubbles in the sidewalls and also blowouts. Both Genesis and the dealer gave me no satisfaction. I changed out the tires to Michelin at my cost of $1100. for my own piece of mind. It is still a lot noisier than my 2015 so I now play the radio at a higher volume to drown out the noise. I guess I got the lemon as most people like the ride and quiet. I like everything else about the car. I'm 80 years old so unfortunately this will be my last car!

I bought a 2018 Genesis G80 used with 25k miles on it. After purchasing I found out that I don't get the remainder of the warranty because this car was originally sold in Canada. Then I found out none of the remote features such as starting work because of the way it was made with 3G. No one in the US will help me because it was originally sold in Canada. No one in Canada will help me because I am in the US.

Do your homework and get the model and equipment you want. Don't settle for anything less, especially if you're purchasing new. I was looking at a 3.8 V-6 Ultimate and after some research ended up with a 5.0 AWD Ultimate and LOVE it. Fast, Responsive, and many safety features. I really can't think of a thing I don't like on this vehicle.

I've only put appr 8,000 mi on car, so I'll go to good stuff first: Myself, neighbors, friends are all extremely impressed w/ design, fit , comfort, just about everything!! one really awkward item is remote start needing to access app from your smart phone. Here's my MAIN complaint: on the open road doing 70+ MPH {that's mainly why I need a luxury car}, the road noise is much, much worse than my '15 E350! I have Hyperacusis , a sensitivity to high pitch noise. I'm now using my Bose noise reduction headphones. I was determined to buy this out @ end of lease, but now may go back to Lexus...
