I have had my Electrified GV70 for eight months now, and feel like I can give an honest opinion on this car. First - what made me fall in love was the comfort I felt when I climbed into the drivers seat. The seat is so much more comfortable than any other car seat I have sat in, not to mention the rolling seat massage!!! LOVE that it has heated and cooled front seats, for those HOT Dallas summers, and sometimes cold winters. Love that the backseat has heaters too. The look and feel is fantastic! Since it is electric, it’s such a smooth ride, and the suspension is fantastic! But the range is super disappointing, and has changed. First when I would charge to 80% I would get around 205 miles range on the gauge, but now it’s getting about 170s range at 80%. If it is more accurate, then I would be happy with at least that part, but the range is such a con for a car. It leaves you stressed to drive over an hour, because you are uncertain about the drive back. If the range was say 400, it would be worth its weight in gold. Now the stereo (Lexicon) is horrific! Coming from Bowers and Wilkins, Bose, and Bang and Olufsen, it is TRULY lacking. I know they are now coming with Bowers and Wilkins, but I know the odds of switching out my speakers is slim to none. That is truly a disappointment, as I am a music lover, and love deep bass and clear sound. While I love this car, would I buy it again? I’d think twice and probably shop around more, but if the range weren’t an issue, definitely a top notch car. Pros: extreme comfort, great aesthetic inside/out, super smooth, passenger comfort, packed with great features Cons: low and unpredictable range, weak stereo speakers, outside door lock button finicky

I was very pleased when I bought my '18 G90. However, my mood is changing with each model Genesis puts out. I also purchased a '23 GV70 2.5T Advanced, which didn't have all the features that I wanted. I would have to had gone with the 3.5T Prestige Sport, which was very pricy($14,350 more), and didn't have the looks or colors that I was after; plus it gets bad MPG. What I missed most was HUD and heated rear seats. And now, the Electrified version has even less features in the "Advanced" package. They dropped the heated steering wheel, Lexicon sound system, 60/40 split rear seat, rear window shades and illuminated door scuff plates. I can't believe that if you need a heated steering wheel, you must pay another $6800 for the Prestige package. What is going on Genesis?
