Great car, nice technology, but some cons
Switched over from a Lincoln MKS due to horrible Lincoln service and stayed in the Ford family due to having the Ford employee discount, but I am regretting it - a bit. The car is great! I have the SE Tech and luxury package - comes with all the bells and whistles - premium audio, leather, heated seats, etc. Fuel economy is good (fills up for about $35 with average of $2.30/gallon). Acceleration is not bad for a V4. My problem arises with the steering and Ford customer service. When the vehicle only had 500 miles it was in the shop for a vibration in the steering wheel. Ford, who didn't provide me with a loaner car, stated this was a "normal characteristic" and they notified Ford Corporate. I was told to drive another 2,000 miles as my tires have flat spots. Drove another 2,000 miles and problem still persists. Took it back to the dealer and was told, "this feels normal to us". Fine, took it again and was told, "the tires were majorly out of balance". After receiving it back, the problem continues. How ridiculous that a brand new car with only 8,000 miles is having such a problematic situation with steering that the dealer cannot even figure out. Also, sent NUMEROUS emails to Ford Corporate - but I do not ever hear anything back. Overall, this car is good - but service with Ford is garbage. Will probably be going back to foreign cars - Lexus is the best.

Great until.......
I took delivery 1-3-17. I drive under 6000 miles /yr on average. As of today the car has only 350 miles on it. This car is loaded with all the bells and whistles and is the "top of the line" Fusion model. Last week the car's electronics had a total meltdown in my driveway and had to be towed to the dealer for warranty repair. Until I called Ford Customer service to complain the dealer was content to add the car to their repair queue, saying it would probably be two weeks until they got to the repair.......... adding that they had NO idea what was wrong with it. FORD stepped up and told the dealer to get it done and authorized them to do what was necessary to FIX the car and at least get me into a rental. When the dealer was forced to respond, they found out the audio system had a "draw" on the electronics and was never turning off, draining the battery. So, I still do not have the car back because they don'the have a fix for it at this at this point. Maybe I will get the car back before the 2018 models hit the dealers..........

What a disaster!!!!
The 2017 Ford Fusion Sport is AWESOMELY fun to drive and is as comfortable as it is agile. I like the active dampening compared to my 2015 Ford Fusion, but oh how I miss that car compared to this one. Ive called Ford Roadside Assistance 5 times in less than three months to deal with electrical issues with my vehicle, which has less than 3000 miles on it. Finally decided to take it into the dealership yesterday, couldnt get a loaner, and sat there for several hours. But alas! The problem wasnt the battery as I suspected but instead a measly fuse that has been causing unwarranted drain to serially kill my battery. Great! Until I hop in my car this morning and it wont start... What a joke! Shipped from the manufacturer with a lemon of a battery or potentially worse - electrical problems. The dealer claims they cant replace the battery until it fails on the rotunda, and they say it has "passed" their specs. What's truly troubling is how much I love driving this vehicle but what use does a car have if it sits in your driveway without being able to turn on? Dealer wont fix it in a timely manner or to customer's satisfaction. I likely wont be purchasing another Ford again, and I certainly cant recommend the brand to any of my friends or family.

Very smooth quiet sedan!
I am pleased with the car for the money paid. The styling is really good, the 2.5 liter engine is not very powerful when you are first taking off but once you are up to speed it has plenty of power. Mine has the SYNC3 system added which is nice having the larger back up camera. Both front seats are power adjustable standard on SE models which you don't see in competitor's cars in this trim level. Very smooth and quiet ride, be careful on the freeway because you'll be doing 90 before you know it! You don't really hear any engine or wind noise so it doesn't really feel like you are going that fast. MPG could be a little better, but then again I paid a good bit less for this car than say a Camry so I am ok with what I'm getting. Trunk is very large and can hold a lot of cargo. A very nice car all in all.

Horrible Lemon
I haven't had my brand new for over 6 months and it has been in the shop over 10 times. Ford keeps coming up with excuses why they can't buy the vehicle back. When it comes to providing me with another form of transportation if they don't have any vehicles available they tell me I have to pay out of my pocket and they MAY reimburse me. Ford volunteers to pay one month note which is still not paid so I am receiving harassing phone calls from Ford credit all day plus it is being reported on my credit as delinquent payment. I will never recommend anyone to purchase from Ford especially a brand new car.
