Fusion engeri Navigation is worthless

I waited to buy the 2017 to get the new technology. It is horrendous. I paid $700 for a navigation system that has missing exits on major interstate highways. Highway 5 that goes from Canada from Mexico. I contacted Ford and they refused to do ANYTHING! Waze and Android Auto which are FREE both outperform this lousy navigation. It can't recognize your voice, losses your downloads, contacts etc. can't find over 50%of the things asked of it. I can't get it uninstalled. Do not buy this no matter how cheap. I am constantly frustrated by it interfering with Android Auto.

Best ride from a car since I was a teenager.

It's a good car, with a great ride. It floats over the road, and that type of ride only comes with a heavy car. If you need to accelerate fast to merge, it has plenty of power that will push you back into your seat. It's a PHEV & this type of car has its pros & cons. The Pros are if you drive it very conservatively, you will get 2,000 miles from a tank of gas. The most I had from a tank was 4,000+ miles. There isn't much maintenance. I have 93,000+ miles on it and just replaced the rear disc brakes. I haven't done the front yet. The Electric motor does most of the braking while regenerating the battery. You don't change the oil every 10,000miles, as 80% of my driving has been on the battery. The more you use the battery, the less you use the gas engine, which means less maintenance on the gas engine and I might have 25,000 miles on the engine. It's best to replace the tires with the same tires it came with. I switched to a Consumer Report tire that was rated excellent for rolling resistance and LOST 8 miles out of a charge. That's 1 Con. Others are, in the cold weather, if you use the heat you will only get about 8 electric miles(Maybe). Even if you don't use the heat, cold weather will reduce your electric range. Another con is the constant 100% charge will reduce your battery's capacity over time. When it was brand new, on a hot day, without A/C I would get 26 miles on a charge, now I get 16 to 18 miles in the summer. The ride is the best since the "Land Yachts" of the 1970s.

Still in Love

I purchased this car in q4 2018. Just before the $7k rebate expired. I want my next car to be an ev but didn't have tesla money to spend. I test drove the hybrid model was not impressed by the performance, I need the ability to have some "fun". I couldn't get that "fun" feeling i was looking for. The energi model had what I needed. The added umph when pushed "energi deletion mode" gives this vehicle that "fun" feeling the hybrid lacks. I also love using the "L" button when I drive. If you don't know what that means in summary it will allow the Energi the drive with active regenerative braking. There are comments about grabby brakes, that goes away once the brakes are worked in. I'm at 38k and they feel fine. If you have the option get the Energi Titanium model. It comes with larger brakes and wheels. These are now mods I will like have to do with my 17" wheels. The Energi drives like a fwd family sedan but since there is a sport and a modding community there are aftermarket parts available to update the suspension and performance. Example: throttle response module $500 Air intake $300 Exhaust $500 Suspension $1200 With these mods this is now comparable to BMW or AUDI without all wheel drive.
