Harley Heaven
This will be my third F150 and Ford finally got it right this time! The Harley F150 Crew Cab is a great looking truck and truly fun to drive. My wife keeps trying to steal it. The only draw back is when you go out for a drive you end up attracting a crowd.
Greatest vehicle I’ve ever owned!
I purchased my 01 F-150 Supercrew with a 5.4 liter motor in 2012 with 80,000 miles on it. It’s now 2020 and it has 138,000 miles, no rust and no complaints. I have done all of the maintenance on it including changing the fuel pump in 2018. I am very impressed of the overall quality of the build of this truck! I’ve owed many different make trucks and cars and believe this is the best built vehicle I’ve owed! I use synthetic oil only during oil / filter changes. I have seen many 5.4 F-150’s with over 300,000 miles still running with the original motor. It has plenty of power to pull trailers or carry heavy loads. It is a very comfortable truck to drive! I love it!

Electrical problems
Although I drive this truck a lot, 1,000 miles per week, it has always been serviced by the selling dealer according to schedule. Major problems. Transmission replaced before 1,000 miles. Differential wore out by 150,000 miles. Constant electrical problems and total incompetence by dealer and Ford, caused replacement of all engine sensors, vehicle computer, parts of the wiring harness and finally replacement of every wiring harness in the truck to correct problem of truck engine constantly shutting down during driving. Internal odometer lights still turn off and on at will. Electrical problems ran from 130,000 to 180,000 while they played with it.
My Tonka Truck
I love this truck. Ordered it new with everything I wanted. After 10 years I still get compliments when I gas up or park somewhere. Only repair was an intake manifold gasket twice. Should have been once but the dealer did not replace the bolts at the time and since then it is a recommended part of this repair. I did do the brakes once but this is required on all vehicles. I will keep it for a good long time. It is fun to drive in snow as it sits so high. Wife complains "it's hard to get up into" and that adds to the appeal. They are really bullet proof.
