King of the Ranch

Love this truck! Yeah, I know. It's a truck not made for real workers. However, I can assure you that this truck can handle any workload. The 5.4 liter engine gives it plenty of pick up and towing capacity. I have towed thousands of pounds with the vehicle without a hiccup. I have even taken it to the city dump to unload construction trash. The roads were horrible and the truck seemed to relish every minute. Great thing is after all of the work, I wash it, maybe wax it, and I am ready to be one of the most stylish in town.

Not the best I've driven

Truck was great for first 15,000 miles - now I am considering trading it in since I am not convinced that mechanical problems from 15K-26Kmiles are solved. Prefer to take chances with another car/truck/SUV before the warranty expires. Probably will never buy a Ford Truck again.

Comfortable gas hog, poor transmission

Sturdy construction, good paint, terrific ride, nice visiblity, very poor gas mileage - probably due to the overdrive transmission which tends to "lockup" at about 45mph. It'll stutter and sputter until it gets up to 55ish. Lousy sound system. This truck really cruises the interstates though and is comfortable to drive. Air conditioner is pooping out (freon leaking?).

We have had this truck for over 3 years. Only had to have it in once for warranty work. Just had to adjust power window on the driver's side. Love the comfort inside, especially on long trips. This is our 4th F150 and I can't wait to get our 5th one with the new make over! It is the best selling vehicle for a reason. Most dependable ride I have ever had.

Other than the mile per gallon issue and the multi cd player location this truck is a wonderful vehicle to drive. fits Tall people and short people, kids are happy in the back and if you get the blow in liner like I did you will not have to look at any scratches in your bed
