gcsonf150/2000
2000 F150 has lived up to my expectations from having owned several earlier ford products. Minimal repairs required todate. Gas mileage could be better. Comfortable to drive on long trips. Good creature comforts.
Best Trucks on the Road
This is the best truck out there. No problems with anything. One thing I have found the dealer does the best work on the truck. I am afraid to trade and buy another one as I can not get anything for this one and it is so reliable.

Best "full size truck" value available..
This is the 3rd Ford truck product i've owned & i am a Ford truck convert for life! They ride/drive/perform flawlessly thru any circumstance. The build quality excellence is well known..just be sure to request an F-150 from Their Norfolk Va. assembly plant(best in North Amer.). I've owned a Chevy,Dodge & Toyota truck previously & although they were decent none were as good overall as the Ford. I highly recommend this vehicle..ask anyone who owns one!
Dependable, tough, minor issues
Bought new, now 82,000 miles (Driving this truck less now due to high gas prices). Only mechanical problem has been door actuators, which I have had to replace. Have used 4wd a lot with no problems. This has been a very reliable truck I can count on and even though is depreciating fast I have no plans to sell as long as it holds up. Rides like a big luxury car on highway. Is developing some rust at bottom inside of doors. Back seat is not comfortable for adults. Gas mileage is poor, 12/16.
great truck
I love this truck it 340,000 miles on it I drive it daily and have never had a problem with it. It's lifted with 35" tires. It has great towing. It handles everything I throw at weather it be hauling a load or just playing in the woods. My next 4x4 will be a f150
