I love my Escape!
My Escape is wonderful - it handles like a foreign car, looks cool, and fits all of my three golden retreivers inside with plenty of room to spare. It's comfortable on long trips, and the six-CD player is wonderful. I have a couple of small things to get fixed before my warranty expires (in 2,000 miles), but nothing even close to major repairs.
Very good car for the money
I have driven 25500 miles in my Escape. I have FWD version, so it is not that great on snow, but is still good on gravel and forest roads when it is dry. Overall, I like this this car, especially the strong engine and good handling. (I have driven Hyundai Santa Fe, and Escape handles much better than Hyundai.) I got the cheap XLS version so the interior is pretty basic, but still OK. The only problem so far was failed DPFE sensor at 19k miles.

Killer Hotboxer
Decent car that gets you from A to B. There are better options in the same price range but this car is fine. Great car to light it up in.
Great SUV..Needs better Quality
Love the ride and look of the Escape and for the price it is hard to beat. Had some small bugs with the low coolant light and the radio. The biggest problem was that the transmission went at 10,000 miles. Since then things have been fine. But not sure I am keeping this car after the warranty expires.
Awesome
Have owned this since the beginning, and it is awesome. Had to replace the clutch cable 3 times, but thats it. It now has 203,000 miles on it and still runs fine. I4 with 5 speed seems to be running good and strong. 4x4 works well, and it handles fine in the snow. This is the best car I have ever driven, and I hope that it keeps on going.
