Fun car.. no fun getting it towed
My continued saga of problems had an unhappy xmas, my radiator burst... now I have had Brakes re-adjusted (for squeeling), Oil Pump failed, Power Steering failed, and now my Radiator. Getting my third towing in 2 months..... Yes I still love my car, but am getting sick of the problems. The wife is getting a new car shortly and it will be either a Honda or Toyota
Fun to drive
As others have said my 1st Dodge like the Hemi power handles very well a little choppy on rough roads But feels well built, very solid car !
What A Car
I must say I really love my Magnum. It really does have the power you want when you ask for it. The design is what got me interestested in this car, I love the low slung broadbased wheel stance and it just squats down and takes off when I put my foot in it. I bought the car in Nov. 2004 and it has 11,200 miles on it. Since I got it , I have taken trips from Tucson Az to Roanoke Va round trip and in March to Kansas and Missouri and back and had no problems of any kind with my car. Of course the gas mileage was't the best, but hey it's a HEMI. Want do you want, your cake and eat it too?
My Pretty Magnum Sure is a Head Turner
My Magnum is one of the prettiest wagons I have ever seen or owned. It handles like a sports car rather than a wagon. Magnum has plenty of power when you call on it and believe me when I say it will run 0-50 in roughly 5 secs. With the ESP feature the Magnum sticks to the road like a road racer, and it is next to impossible to lose control of the car. Like the salesperson who sold it to me said, about the only way you can lose control is if you fall asleep at the wheel.
RT - Best deal in 2005
This is the smoothest, fastest, and quietest car I've ever driven. I can forgive the malfunctioning CD Changer, jammed rear seatbelt, and finicky tailgate for a ride like this. I keep thinking of reasons to go run errands. The engine is effortlessly powerful and the tranny is silky smooth. The 5 Speed Autostick is even becoming fun. I never really understood the appeal of a fake manual, but it's fun to downshift to slow the car. You will never need to downshift for acceleration. The car can do it better without you. I'll admit I'm enjoying all the people stopping to admire and ask about the car.
