Excellent
The car handles like a dream. I took it on a trip to Virginia in early Dec. I had absolutly no problems. I think I helped to sell at least one Hemi to a trucker and his wife at a truck stop. They saw the vehicle at the pump, came over to me and wanted to see the engine and the other things about the car. They said they could not find a HEMI at any dealers where they shopped. As they walked back to thier truck I overheard the wife say, "Well I guess we are going to trade our old station wagon." I hope I sold one for you.
sUPER wAGON
Purchased in July, and get many looks and compliments, no complaints to date, except mileage around town with "mds" is never above 11.5 mpg. Quality is as good as any other foreign car, and yet it gets more looks than any common Asian or European vehicle. I have the ability to upgrade engine modifications for performance and looks from dodge division, and not to mention aftermarket parts. When I want the power it is there instantly to the point it can be hair raising!!! Best parts of package is traction control it will most possibly never loose control unless pushed beyond it or any other vehicle's limits. Experienced it at 80 mph lost control and came back with no problem.
Magnum RT
Comfortable, fun to drive and VERY Quick. Too bad the traction control cannot be turned off. Rear seat had immense room. Long wheelbase makes it very stable but not as nimble.
Coming from a 4runner
Averaging 19 mpg. Not bad for the fun I've had in it. The power is great. Too much plastic in the build. Grill is plastic, fenders are plastic and the dash is made out of something that sinks under any weight at all. But these are asthetic issues. If it was made like a Lexus, it would be priced like a Lexus and I wouldn't be driving it. Compared to a 99 4runner, it drives like a dream. My wife drives a 98 4runner, and when we switch cars, I feel like I'm trying to run in iron boots. The Magnum flies.
Fun car.. no fun getting it towed
My continued saga of problems had an unhappy xmas, my radiator burst... now I have had Brakes re-adjusted (for squeeling), Oil Pump failed, Power Steering failed, and now my Radiator. Getting my third towing in 2 months..... Yes I still love my car, but am getting sick of the problems. The wife is getting a new car shortly and it will be either a Honda or Toyota
