Solid Car, but will it last?
This is my first Dodge, and I am still a bit nervous if this car will last. So far, so good. Just call me paranoid. This car has a lot of room and a very smooth ride. Already had to take it in for Airbag light and now have a slight pop in the dash. No biggie, just annoying. The "trunk" area is kinda cheap, but my last car was a 323 Wagon, so I am getting used to driving an American car again. Overall, very happy as long as it last four years.
GOOD START - NEEDS HELP
SOLD AN '03 350Z PERFORMANCE MODEL FOR THIS RT. GREAT LOOKS. SUSPENSION HITS BUMP STOPS CROSSING INTERSECTIONS AND IS WAY TOO FLOATY ON REBOUND. WHY IS THE TURN SIGNAL STALK NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE STEERING WHEEL. MY HANDS ARE ALWAYS AT 10 AND 2 - GEE - RIGHT WHERE THE CRUISE CONTROL STALK IS! FRONT BUCKET SEATS CAN HANDLE TWO SMALL ADULTS COMFORTABLY IN EACH SEAT. THE RT SHOULD HAVE REAL SIDE BOLSTERS TO FIT ONE PERSON, NOT TWO. PLS PUT THE CHRYSLER SRT8 UNDER THE MAGNUM BODY - OR AT LEAST OPTION A SUSPENSION TO ENABLE THE RT TO BE MORE LIKE A TRUE SPORTS WAGON AND MATCH ITS LOOKS. NOTHING CLOSE TO THE ADVERTISED GAS MILEAGE, WAY TOO MUCH FUN
Dashboard Rattle
This car is Kickin'. It's a suped up station wagon. My 3 year old son calls it "Daddy's Hemi Car". An annoying rattle under the front pass floorboard. Mystery thus far w/ Dodge not too knowledgeable. They need to ride on 95 at 65MPH to hear it. Any thoughts? mminstigator@hotmail.com
I love my Dodge Magnum!!
Exceptional automobile. Beautiful. Comfortable. Great performance. I am not too enthused about the gas mileage, but that may be because I can't keep my foot out of it. All in all, I love it.
My Pretty Magnum Sure is a Head Turner
My Magnum is one of the prettiest wagons I have ever seen or owned. It handles like a sports car rather than a wagon. Magnum has plenty of power when you call on it and believe me when I say it will run 0-50 in roughly 5 secs. With the ESP feature the Magnum sticks to the road like a road racer, and it is next to impossible to lose control of the car. Like the salesperson who sold it to me said, about the only way you can lose control is if you fall asleep at the wheel.
