Only 1K miles on Hornet RT Wanted a CUV for its practicality. I was coming out of a Mustang. I also wanted some performance. I was intrigued by the Hornet for that reason. I have also had a love for Alfa Romeo cars. The Hornet is based on the new Alfa Tonale. For all of those reasons, I was not a sheep & I checked it out for myself. I leaned toward the RT because of the incentives. They totaled 10K. That brought the car down to around 34K. Much more manageable than the $44,620 sticker price. I am a car guy so I understand things outside of the shiny things that consumers are drawn towards. For example you get 4 Piston Brembro brake calipers & Koni shocks. Independent rear suspension. All season sport tires. You get either the GY Eagle GT or the Michelin Sport all seasons. You won't find them on a Hyundai or even the Toyota. You definitely need to take the time to learn the car. 3 Drive modes. Hybrid, E Save, & Electric. I've been getting around 33 miles of all electric range on a fully charged battery. The interior feels solid & refined. Seats were a big things for me. I will say that if you are a larger individual the bolsters might cut into your hips. (I am not, so no issue for me) Infotainment & standard safety features are amongst the best in class. Small trunk & weird handle to close the hatch. I love the exterior look. The blacktop package adds to that look. Blacked out badging along with blacked out mirror caps & trim. My main concern is overall reliability. I have had a few tech clichés with the security system & front end collision sensor. Waiting on 4th quarter software update to hopefully fix some of the tech gremlins. So far I am pleased with the vehicle. Check one out for yourself.

We just got this sweet easy ride recently. I like the look of black with red trim. The idea of being a gas saver and battery is great. Were I live in Maine and use many miles! The time I get in it feels like my batmobile! I can set my own settings to my liking. Super comfortable seats and so easy to drive. The quiet is nice too. The quick pick up speed is so handy. I really love this car and my dad always had dodge. The only thing I wish it had is defrost mirrors.

If your looking for a fast car this is not it, if your hoping for reliability this it definitely not it. I had mine for about a week before the hybrid system failed. they took it back to try and fix it but the power shot doesn't work still and after the up date it seems to drive worse, as far a stability and shifting gears. It is however comfortable, has a great wheel, looks good, great cameras, big screen and seemed to handle really well before the update or fix the dealer did to fix the hybrid system

I am very disappointed in the car. I bought it six months ago and drove only 5 thousand miles. It started to break down in the middle of the road. I can neither start it nor turn it off. I had to call a tow truck. The service replaced my battery. And last time they wrote that some kind of electrode came off. All possible lights are on the screen. I am very dissatisfied with the car and want to return it as soon as possible.

RT+ is a vehicle with TONS of issues

I own a 2024 Dodge Hornet RT+. It's been at th dealership twice for electrical issues. First time was a total power failure that even drained the 12v battery even though the manufacturer says it should not do that. Second time was all the lights on the dash lit warning "service engine", service power steering, front collision inoperable, lane sense inoperable, heated seats and steering wheel inoperable, automatic power folding mirrors inoperable. My vehicle has just over 4K miles on it and I've only owned it 7 months. I'm looking into lemon laws in my state at this point. Dodge promises the works with this car, but that is not what you get. You'll end up with tow bills and mansplaining at the dealership.
