Bad radio/ bluetooth

The only problem that I keep having is the radio and bluetooth do not work together. I was traveling in a rain storm traveling through the mountains when the radio including the mapping system went black and never came back on until the next day. I was able to call my husband and he talked me in to our land. On our trip down to Florida from Tennessee due to the hurricane, my radio mapping went black again as soon as I answered the phone. It came back after getting off the phone. Towards the end of the trip, the bluetooth stopped working with my iPhone. I could not call out while being tethered/ plugged into the vehicle.

Research before you buy. We rented the model we wanted for a week and put some miles on it. We haven't owned the Tahoe long enough for a indepth review. What we have learned is the audio system has issues like ,when listening through USB and a device and driving on a ruff road the music will skip like a CD would and the system is more complicated then it should be. I haven't towed anything yet but the outside mirrors seem like they're a little smallish compared to the 2014 model. The one we rented had both of the wires that attach to the rear window defogger broken. When you open the rear window on a Tahoe you will see the bad design. Lastly the biggest problem is that you have to learn how to use the gas pedal to accelerate smoothly. I get the complaints about how the transmission can be jumpy/jerky.

Too many vehicle failures

Ok...32000 miles and the mag lev shocks failed, costing.....ready for this? 1000.00 a piece! Following week, A/C compressor! The Radio navigator had to be replaced, the car battery failed, the rear hatch motor failed...The Mountainview Chervrolet dealership in Upland Ca. is not competitive, very expensive! 580.00 for an oil change, fuel injection service and cabin filter! And they don't put all your parts back on when they service! Still waiting for bumper pads on the rear hatch they lost a year ago!!! Now I've owned over 6 Tahoe's and believe me..I'M DONE BUYING GM PRODUCTS! Never buy a Tahoe!!!

Purchased Certified pre owned Tahoe. Fuel injectors replaced after 10k miles injector 5 and 6 replaced and repaired under warranty. Master Brake cylinder replaced - repaired under warranty. AC Belt broke at 44k miles. Repair from dealer pricey. Parts are double in price through dealer vs amazon. I would recommend leasing these vehicles. Too many issues for long term. Pros: Amazingly comfortable vehicle I owned.

2016 Tahoe is junk

This Tahoe is not well built at all. It had problems from day one when purchased may 2016. It came from the factory with the doors the the out side not even at all and the dealership we bought it from could not figure out how to fix it. Also there was defected trim peices and the leather seats had spots in it as well as the rear door plastic pannel. I had the lt z71 package with texas edition package. Also it had A/C problems when it was above 90 f out the compressor would cut off and a low pitch rumble sound when it went to v4 mode. Two Chevy dealerships could not figure out how to fix the probems and GM did not have a fix and the customer service department does not care either. It took them over a month to contact me back after a case number was set and none of the issues ever got fixed with the vehicle. After owning it for 4 months with 6500 miles on it and the chevy delaerships and GM not caring to fix the problem or buy back the vehicle I decided it was best that I take a loss on it instead of it being in the shop all the time and dealing with dealerships and GM customer service that does not care at all. I traded it for a Toyota product and have been very happy with it so far. I have owned a 2001 4wd LS and 2012 4wd LTZ tahoe but this one was the worst. I can see why the 2015 and newer models were on the top 20 unreliable vehicles this year. The older tahoes that I had were much better build. I would not recommend this vehicle at all until GM decided to spend the time and Produce the vehicle right. Also I lost over 20% of the value when I traded it in as well cause it is marked up to much and it even cost more that a Lincoln navigator.
