Used 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT 4dr Crew Cab 4WD LB (6.6L 8cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
2020 Silverado 2500 HD LT - 6.6L Gas with a 6L90E
Great truck, wicked power for a 7500lb 3/4 ton. Folks complain about the interior quality but its very nice and durable IMO. GM still makes the most reliable American made truck on the market (https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2020/09/careful-what-you-buy-most-reliable-2020-full-size-trucks-ranked/) and the new 6.6L is going to be a hit. More torque then the Dodge 392 and better gas mileage towing with and without a load. Probably the best gasser on the market, even better then the Ford 7.3L. People complain about the front end but I love it, looks like a freight train, I like something unique and not something made to please everyone. With 3.73 gears the 6-speed is perfect, and this truck in Crew has more space then any 3/4 on the market.

Beautiful Truck
Honestly, I've always owned Ford trucks - and I can say my experience has been pretty good. But after talking with Steve Sorensen from Phillips Chevy in Frankfort, I felt it was time for a change. The 2020 Silverado 2500 that we bought was EXACTLY what we needed for our business. I couldn't be more pleased with this truck and look forward to driving it every day. What an amazing experience, top notch service and incredible truck!!

Fuel pump explosion
7000 miles in on my 2020 3/4 ton 6.6 gas engine. The fuel pump blew apart “service managers” words. Shrapnel made it all the way into the injectors. The entire fuel system had to be replaced. It was covered by warranty but nothing was done as far as being without heavy truck for a month. The dealership gave me a 97 lumina to drive. No one buys a 3/4 ton to just drive around. There was also nothing done as to extend my warranty or adjustments made to make the situation better
Nothing but problems
Took ownership in late 2020 and the truck had 11,000 miles on it. Within a few weeks the brakes went from a small irritation to a noisy problem. I leave the house at 5-6 am everyday, and my neighbors told me I was thier alarm clock. Chevy warrantied all 4 pads. They have told me since then it's an issue, but no longer covered under warranty as it's a "normal wear" issue. Truck needed to be towed in a few weeks ago when it ran rough and shut off with a "water in fuel" alarm. Dealership states it's DEF fluid and cost me $1900 out of pocket. I'm the i my one that drives this truck, but the sample they showed me did not look like fuel you want in your system. Not sure what really happened, but it was running great since then. Tried to pick up parts today at a local distributor and the truck will not start. Cranks ridiculously fast, but engine shows no signs of life. Waiting for a tow for the second time in three weeks. I am a mobile service tech and again my wife has to go ack up our new born son to drive an hour to get me. As soon as this truck is fixed I'm getting a Ford!
Great
This is an all around great truck. Very roomy interior. Great lighting in and around the truck. Plenty of power for part time hauling and running empty. Love all the Saftey features.
