Used 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2dr Regular Cab 2WD SB (4.3L 6cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Great Service for 14 Years
We purchase a 2002 truck new and we still have this truck, looks like new inside and out. What's great about this truck is, I drive it to work everyday and I have 340,000 +miles and we have never touched the motor!!! Feel safe to drive it anywhere and drives like the day we purchase it. Thanks to all who had a hand on the build and proud to drive a Chevy !!!

2002 Chev Silverado
Love EVERYTHING about this vehicle and miss it dearly. Totaled on 3-31-2016 because some people don't pay attention/drive and text. Would love to have this vehicle back. Much nicer than my 2007 version. '02 totaled out still valued at $9500 from adjuster. Total shame too because she had atleast another 100k left in her. Shame.

2002 silverado - none better . .
Purchased new and well cared for. This is an outstanding pickup that probably will go another 100.000 miles on top of its 300,000 miles at this point. only major work ever done is a new transmission 50,000 miles ago when it was repainted. [non-permissible content removed]

02 silverado 200,000 and still going strong
my grandpa bought his 02 for 3,100 bucks couple years ago since then it has had no issues at all still runs great only thing it does burn alittle bit but not to much have to say this truck is really fun to drive only thing that i would say is the ride quality could be improved a bit kinda bouncy
Safety Hazard
My truck is just ok. Nothing spectacular. However, the most serious problem with this vehicle is that there is an air-conditioner solid tube that is routed directly over the distributer, cap and rotor. Every six to ten months, the continuous water dripping onto the distributer corrodes the internal electronics and the vehicle is subject to unexpected stalling without the possibility of restarting. This vehicle is very dangerous, yet Chevrolet refuses to admit this design flaw to date. I have a lemon law case file in progress and notifying local news sources in an effort to save other people from this neglegence.
