Any one thinking of buying a Equinox test drive one on a windy day . GM has never corrected the wind noise problem .
2024 Equinox - best value in class
I purchased my Equinox in March ‘24. It was CPO with 6,000 miles. I’ve owned many cars over the years and I also rent cars on a weekly basis for work. I’ve driven the Equinox many times through rental agencies and always found them to be adequate in every way. Typically at a rental agency they are a base version and that was my hesitation at first. When I discovered you could get a 360 camera, blind spot, adaptive cruise and all the other creature comforts for $21,500 on practically a brand new car I was sold. Compared to other mid size SUVs it doesn’t do anything specifically better. But that’s okay, I wanted an affordable daily driver that had the features I wanted. I’ve put around 10,000 miles on my Equinox and could not be happier. I average 32-34 MPGs and the ride is comfortable. You will not win any drag races, but the power sore than adequate for its size. I will say, the transmission gearing can be a little odd. But you get used to it. Chevrolet fixed the brake booster issue in the ‘22 model and overall the 1.5 is a proven drivetrain. I also was able to get a bumper to bumper GM backed warranty for around $1500 to cover it for 8 years/115,000 miles. So for $23,000 all in, it was an easy decision. Also, everything maintenance wise is relatively easy to get to. The LED headlights are good, the safety features (blind spot, adaptive cruise, 360 camera) perform better than many luxury cars I’ve driven. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. For the price, I don’t see any other vehicle that compares. The only issue I have had is the paint on the rear bumper edge was starting g to come off at the edge because the tolerance between the quarter panel and bumper was tight. The dealer took care of this 100% under warranty without any questions.

Very eye catching RS!
This car is beautiful, a major upgrade from my 2010 vehicle. All the bells and whistles with a fantastic look. Blacked out with red detaining inside and the RS badge outside. I love being able to pull the maps up via apple car play! With AWD I expect this car to handle very well this upcoming winter.
Works for me
Nice driving! I am handicapped and need a dependable ride. This equinox drives smooth and so far is quite comfortable.
