Love this car. Great take off power, beats the pants off all BMW z4s. Top speed to date 155 on speedo. Still has more to go. Love to see it with a 600hp 427V8..

This car is so much fun to drive it should charge you to drive it. Blinding acceleration along with glued to the pavement performance are features this car flaunts.

I have owned several corvettes through the years, and none compare to the C5. I have had more fun driving this vehicle than any other I have ever owned. The build quality is exceptional, and during the factory tour, I believe that the workers pride in what they build is exceptionally high. I have had no problems with the car to date, and it has been very comfortable to drive.

A lot of car for the money and can be overpowering if you do not watch out. Very hard to not go fast as the power is quite addicting. Like driving a Harley...you get membership in a very exclusive club status. Really like the special 50th annv. red color with the shale interior. No problems to date except that we too had the rear shipping shock stuffers left on by the dealer.

This 2004 Z06 is my first Vette and I am blown away by it. Solid as a rock. Motor on steroids. Exhaust note to die for. Great mileage. Best curvy body since Catherine Zeta Jones. I own a Mercedes S 55 that seems as exciting as a bowl of cottage cheese compared to a drive in the Z06. Keep the walnut and air conditioned glove box. This American Guy will take styling, brute force, and the extra $60K in the bank. What took me so long?

after owning the corvette z06 for a little over a year now, i have come to realize why so many people flock to this car. to say it is high performance would be underestimating the car's potential. to say it is only over the top would be a joke and an insult to the car itself. i love this car, it accellerates, handles, and brakes luike a dream. buy one if you get a chance.

The best Vette ever and it holds 2 sets of golf clubs. A great daily drive, wonderful cruiser on trips and it can turn on the racer on 1 second notice. Other than an oil change, it has had no problems in 8000 miles. I'm ready for the 2005 with 500 horespower!!!

We took our car on a 550 mile trip and we were getting 23 mpg. I just put in 6th gear cruise control at 65mph. When we got there we felt great. To do this trip in our 62 or 69 or 73 or 78 would have been painful. Best vette yet.

THERE HAS BEEN NONE OTHER CAR TO MATCH "THE CORVET." The covet is a class of it's own rite and makes many copy-cats, but they fall short. The only other car that I would compare the "VET" was my porche '944/928. However, the "Prowler is really an eye stopper, makes my heart skip a beat. The "VET" has the speed, stability, STYLE and many wanting eyes craving it. When you drive up in a Corvet people take notice and have to say something to you or give you the thums up.

It never fails to put a smile on my face when I start the engine. This car may well be the best designed and engineered sports car in the world. You could pay more and get less, if you prefer snob appeal. 0-60 in 4 seconds, 170 mph on the local straight-away, great handling, good looks, value priced ... what more could you want?

A limited number of 50th Anniversery Convertibles exist but you can still find them. This car is fanatastic to drive, ride and look at. What a pleasure to own.

After careful review of the '03 M3 and CLK55.....on a fluke I looked closely at the '03 Corvette...initially the ZO6....and then the coupe....I looked closely at both models but left the dealer without driving either....only to return a few days later to drive both...and much as I loved the raw power in the ZO6...I chose a coupe with the transparent roof.....and saved $20k from not buying the CLK or the M3...and thus far.....I have no regrets and look forward to taking the longer route to the office.

WOW! What a car! I moved up from a Grand Prix GTX and have been MIGHTILY impressed with this "race" car! Incredible speed that still scares me at times, VERY comfortable - even on an 800 mile trip back and forth from Tallahassee to Indiana - and a real joy to drive, even in daily traffic. I wouldn't recommend the 6 speed for those who have to sit in highway traffic for hours at a time (Atlanta) but it is perfect for my daily 15 minute drive back and forth to work. I STILL get comments on the Zo6 even a year and a half after purchase! It's amazing how much more peeps will pay attention to you when you drive a corvette! Go for it, you only live once!

This is a what I would call the almost perfect car. I have not had to take it into the dealer for any problems in the 9 months I have owned it. My wife and I took a 3857 mile fall vacation in it and averaged 31.4 mpg. This is a 6- speed. I am 6'1'' and have no trouble with getting in and out of the car. I am extremely happy with all aspects of the car.

After having owned numerous Corvette's I have found that the Z06 is by far the best Corvette made to date. You get your bang for the buck when buying a Z06 in that it is just as or almost as quick as cars costing $25000 or more AND it's American made. It's comfortable to drive and the buttons and switches are all easily accessible. Where else can you get a vehicle with 405 hp that gets 19 mpg city and 28 mpg hwy?

I just came back from a 6000+ miles trip & the car performed flawlessly. The comfort was marvelous. I knew the car would turn over each time I started it. Gas mileage was 30 miles per gallon. What more can you ask from a quality automobile. And waves from people you don't know & the smiles it puts on others faces, of course mine has one all of the time.

The Z06 is a GREAT performance vehicle. It has great power, handling is amazing and the ride is very steady. If Chevy put this much effort into every vehicle they make, maybe they could take some of Toyota and Honda's market share. The only complaint with the drive is the brakes squeal incessantly due to excessive brake dust. The interior of the vehicle is cheaply done, although the HUD is a great touch and helps to keep your eyes on the road. One cup holder doesn't make the ladies happy and the road noise is so loud that it is impossible to do anything but drive the car. The temperature control is tempermental and I am not sure that the passenger side knob is even connected!

I look forward to the weekends just to drive my car. This is my second Vette and I will definitely buy more in the future. MAKE SURE your dealer takes out the spacers before you take delivery or test drive your Vette!! Mine were left in and it was like riding in a tank for the first week!.

The car is well built and fun to drive. Very comfortable on long road trips and mileage is surprisingly good. GM could have built in more performance but that is easily fixed with after market bolt on changes. Run flat tires provide piece of mind because there is no spare tire but they are noisy. Will buy future models agains. Very nice car.

As my 1st US car, I was nervous, especially with a high tech car, but it has been flawless. I have had no major issues. It performs great with minimal maintenance. You can do as much or as little as you want with this car. Cross country was very comfortable and roomy enough for 2 adults and all our gear. Middle of summer,100 degrees outside, and it was smooth sailing.

I bought this car during the 0% craze last year (was building a 600hp+ Mustang) but ditched that project after 10 minutes of seat time in the Z06. Hands down the most enjoyable ride I've ever taken. The black one I tried driving off the lot with crapped on me before out of dealer's sight, but the Quicksilver has held up very well and the only problem is some infamous GM paint (runs by the lower door panels), a creak here and there in the interior, and a fuel sensor gauge (fixed once, living with it now) that likes to die out. Overall performance and looks the car gets a 10/10, and I'd score it higher but might be a bit trite. Everyone deserves a Z06.

Car is great. Spend your time looking around at the lots or opt for the museum delivery. Build quality varies from car to car. Look at body panel, and door fit, they are not consistant so if your picky look for a good one. I wish somebody told me. Paint and body panel straightness is the same, look for a good one. If you are not picky on fit and finish don't worry about it the car is just awesome.

I also took the Option "museum Delivery" ($490.00 - 2003)Which in my case was offset by destination charges (aprx $750.00)this is offset by travel- pick up expense. My only criticism was before the actual purchase NO LOCAL DEALERS (JAX FL & St.Mary's GA) Would order the car with the "museum Delivery" option ? 1 of 2 reasons for the "Volunteer chevy sevierville Tenn" Dealer purchase

The Corvette has been my dream car since I was 13 years old. Having purchased a black 2003 my dream was realized this year. This car is everything that one could ever hope for a sports car to be. It is sleek, handles beautifully, and is the most comfortable car I have ever driven. The responsiveness of the steering and the powerful acceleration make it a true dream to drive. Yet, the level of comfort that the Corvette exudes gives it a luxurious feel that many sports cars seem to lack. Hats off to Chevrolet for producing such a fine car!

The newer vipers and porsche turbos are it... under $100K. Mine is a daily driver, and is very comfortable even during rush hour. Absolutely no problems with the car... and I have not babied it. This is simply one very awesome, affordable, easy to drive rocket.

Being a long time sports car enthusiast I finally bought a Corvette. The performance package is why I chose the Z06. The car handles like it's on rails until you get to 135 mph. Maybe I am used racing front wheel drives, but the steering should be tighter at high speed than it is. The 1st to 4th shift is annoying but does save gas.
