Love it more every time I drive it

I waited 50 years for my Corvette. Found this one with only 10K miles on it. Virtually a brand-new 15 year old car but drives and rides like a true GT. Mine has the sport seats and the glass roof so it's always entertaining, feels like an F-16 on takeoff. If you're seriously considering a Corvette, any Corvette, buy it. Fast, smooth, and beautiful - these cars are a screaming bargain. You will not be disappointed. The C5 is probably a better car and the C6 my neighbor owns is like your own personal amusement park, but my C4 does everything I want. I bought this car thinking I'd keep it for 6 months to a year. Now I think I'll keep it forever.

The most dependable ..harsh.. trouble free.. powerful..needy..give me ..take me. solid and firm ...41"high low to the ground ..driven by your limits and short of this chassis expectations...auto you will ever try to drive. eats 911's for lunch ...on mine, 104000 miles the last of the original smallblocks. no on knows the limits of this LT1 longevity.

Bought used with 42,000 miles on car. Regular coupe with A/T and limited options for 1995. Besides normal items like tires, battery, brakes we have replaced nothing other than power window motor on driver side at approx 54000 miles. The LT1 has been very reliable and has had no problems.

I love this vehicle. I was a little bit hesitant at first to purchase this vehicle because of all the stories, "I wouldn't want to pay the repair bill!" ect... It has not givin me a problem yet. I've put 96,000 miles on it and all I've ever done was change oil and basic tune-ups. You will love this car!!

I thought owning a Corvette was out of my reach...but found one that I could afford. Blue-green, 86,000 miles, clean, and powerful. My buddy keeps asking me when we can remove the top, take off our shirts, and make a road trip.

It's a vette!

I purchased my torch red coupe off of Ebay. My first vette...after wanting one for many, many years. The car's a blast to drive, draws lots of attention (both good and bad!), and is just plain fun. Is it practical? No..it's a vette! :) Get about 18 mpg in town...21/22 on highway. Due to it's low profile and high door jam, the car's difficult to enter and exit for someone who's tall or "large." Haven't had any problems with it, mechanically, and the car has almost 100,000 on the odometer. Would recommend the car...it's a blast!

I bought this car about 3 weeks ago sight unseen. It had 60K miles on it. I drove the car back from the pickup point. When I got it home I noticed about an inch of mold all over the passengers side due to a water leak. I replaced all the carpet and seats $2200. Then the car would not start. Tune up for $1500 and the Brakes were shot $1800. I still have a few interior pieces to replace. Now the car is fun to drive. The Looks are great. Need to replace the complete weather stripping on the car.

I've been in my vette now for a couple of months and I'm very happy with it. The car has power to burn, handles like a dream and allows you to not worry about those short passes into oncoming traffic. Love the styling of the C4!

Like so may I waited too long to get my first vette... DON'T WAIT. If you have to get an older one, find the lowest mileage one you can find. C4's typically have electrical issues, don't let that scare you. If things work that's all that matters. The 1995 is the last of the OBD1 LT1's... it's bullet proof, so measure your find by it's ride quality. Which will be OK, tires are pricy but it's a vette. I LOVE MY VETTE! 300HP is PLENTY with this torque curve and weight. Great American Muscle...

Cons:Clear coat on wheels, peeled in 2004 and had to be recoated. Excessive moisture in the air, Vette will not start. Water pump went out. Replaced water pump, and all the wiring. I had to replace 4 distributors over a 12 month period. It still sometimes will not start. Pros: I had all new plugs and wiring done; high quality. The performance was noticable. MPG went from 20 - 22, to 25 - 27 mpg. It has always been fun to drive, and what a pleasure it is on long drives. Sound quality is still good with the Bose Gold. May update later. I am deciding on what tires to replace it with, I will drive it all year long. Other than starting problems, the car is awesome.

Great performance and looks. Poor quality and reliability. Had to replace alternator, timing belt, and battery just days after the warranty expired. While under warranty, had to have oil leak repaired, weather stripping replaced, drivers window scratches when open and closed. Five years later it again needed the same things fixed. Replaced all tires after only 26000 miles (about $370.00 each)! I had to buy a new battery eight years after buying my 1991 Ford... thats the only thing that has failed on it!

The car is fun to drive. The gas mileage is not the greatest, but the car does get up and go. Its got great style and good lines. I find it a little hard to get in and out of the car because it sits so low.

Mine is a daily driver and great for weekend get aways. The rear compartment holds more than you may think. The LT1 drivetrain has been outstanding (HP, torque, gas mileage, and dependable). The paint job still looks great after 14 years. Tune-ups every 100,000 miles is great. Not to mention Z07 brakes thanks to the elimination of the ZR1. Outstanding value, it affords me the ability to have a more expensive house note since these cars are so affordable.

I bought this car used from the original owner with 28,000 miles on it. The car runs great (that LT1 is turbine smooth) and is very comfortable for long trips (even with the base suspension). I've put 17,000 miles on it in the 3 years I've owned it. I haven't had any problems. I do get the odd WRX on my tail, but hey, I paid half of what that thing costs. Plus, it's a Vette! For those who complain about getting in/out of the Vette, remember, it's a sports car, not a Miata. With a little investment, this baby could run with Enzo's, F40's and Lambos at a fraction of the cost.

I love this car. It has plenty of power to justify instant incarceration. It rides stiff and really isn't made for bumpy roads, but don't let this fact discourage you from buying it. The value and quality of the build of the car far out weigh the negatives.I can honestly say that if you are considering a Camaro or Mustang, change your mind! You can't get a better car in its class for a better price( 8k-13k )

Always wanted a Corvette and now we have one. Way fun car to drive. As with any older car it needed a few maintenance items but I like working on cars anyway. Love the car.

Purchased the vehicle used with 33,600 miles and drive it as a daily-driver. At 147,600 miles I am still enjoying it just as much. This car is truly a great value. The price of these cars are low and the performance and dependability is high. The Clear Coat Base Coat black paint is beautiful. Even 14 years later it looks great. The performance is great. This is a whole lot of car for the money. The 100,000 tune-up is the first real money I have spent on it other than oil changes. Great Z07 brakes thanks to the elimination of the ZR1. Great vehicle for weekend get-aways. The rear compartment holds a lot of stuff and luggage. I really like the sleek timeless design.

Great daily driver for mid teens

Got the '95 for a daily driver that would be fun to drive. It was a garage queen, of which I think there are many, and only had 18k miles after 8 years. Only issues were the engine well and one small frayed spot on the passenger carpet. Paint, weather stripping, tinted blue roof and rest of carpet and seats were in spotless condition, reflecting mileage and sitting in garage. Got it for mid sixteens and put new fluids in along with a good cleaning of the engine. Runs strong and just plain fun.

Was actually looking to buy a '97 or later used Corvette but when accidently came across the ad and pictures of the car. Then it came back to me how much I was impressed by the look of the later C4s when I saw them. And at first I thought "no way I'm a 'Torch Red' kind of guy, but the more I thought about it, hey, why not -ts a Vette! I love the look, size feel and reactions to this car. Yes it is impossible to get in and out of and yes it is loud, but hey it is a sports car!

I purchased this vehicle recently and don't know. I have waited so long to get a Corvette. It is fun to drive and the fuel economy is not bad. A great V- 8 sound with good low end torque and plenty of horsepwer to scream top end.

Mine is the basic model, that is still completely stock (except a K&N filter), and with the automatic tranny I've run the 1/4 mile in 13.66 at 101 mph. It's a lot of fun to drive and people always stop to comment on the color, Bright Aqua Metallic (also the least produced color, besides the Gran Sport purple). It has 58K miles and I've had no mechanical problems. A couple of electrical bugs, but no big deal. I love it!

Greatest Sports Car in USA

One of the greatest sport cars ever driven. Love the handling and speed. Would not settled for anything else. This is a part-time car for me. I regularly drive it on the weekend to the local gym/metro in Greenbelt, Md. I will only purchase a Porsche 911 Turbo wide body and a '95 Vette for my sports car, nothing else. Although, I used to own an '89 911 Turbo and loved it, but not as much as the Vette b/c of the handling. Hate to sell this car -- will be placing an ad this week-end due to relocation to Thailand.
