Transmission junk
Bought a brand new 2023 1ss1le. 900 miles of easy driving the transmission started making a tapping sound anytime time the clutch was released. Brought the car to a dealer, come to find out three gears have teeth missing. Parts are on back order for months.

Muscle Cars Rule
As a women and a senior citizen I have had and now driven every Muscle Car. I have loved each one. My New Chevy Camaro is number 1 on my list. She is so much fun to drive. My only regret is I did not buy one sooner.

LEAVE THE REST AS ROAD SIDE KILL
I've previously owned three Corvettes and two Mustang GT models. Being a senior citizen, I have friends who back in the day owned big block muscle cars and I drove them' too. This vehicle would absolutely annihilate them in a drag race and leave them as road side kill in the handling depatment. The dual mode exhaust is equally outrageous; from startup and on road roar, backfire and pops. What a hoot. The convertible is highly recommended and so is the maual trans which truly engages the driver. Opt for the 2SS and receive great and necessary driver aides like lane departure and electronic panoramic rear view mirror . Both eliminate concerns of rear blind spots as ,of course, does the convertible-top down great rear view, top up very adequate with the 2SS driver aides. Now hear this.I'm on the shorter side and the business of not being able to see out front or along sides is no issue for me. With the power seat adjustments, I 'm able to move my sight line up above the two instrument pods and fully deploy the clutch. The backseats are not for grownups, but they're good enough for a half dozen shopping bags, golf clubs or a couple of overnight travel bags. The convertible trunk can hold several gym bags or roughly 4 full shopping bags. Heck, I've got an SUV for Home Depot and frankly speaking, who buys a sports/muscle car convertible(or coupe) for cargo lugging ?? If there is one thing to [non-permissible content removed] about, it's the summer only tires. I hate not being able to not take it out on cold days when the roads are salt / snow free. The SS equipped run flat/ summer tires are for very spirited driving- the kind that gets people in trouble with the law or into the trees. In the future, I plan to put on all season performance tires and expect them to be sufficient. So that's it. Get this future collectible ICE vehicle now cause the future electric only cars, while being fast, truly have no soul. The Camaro commercials from a ways back say the Camaro, closest thing to a Vette yet. Well to this guy, it's better. C8 Vettes have no manual trans, no true rag top convertible and IMO, disjointed, incongruous styling with a hideous butt. The icing is the money savings over the C8, too.
Fun to drive, mine was not reliable (3.6L V6 10SA)
My 2023 1LT V6 10spd died on the interstate at 9,800 miles. Fuel pump assembly came loose, was "fixed" by the dealer. I was expecting them to install a brand new pump as the old one ran dry for a decent amount of time, but they did not. Even after the "fix" my pump started going bad so I sold the vehicle almost at the price I purchased it. Thankfully Camaros don't depreciate that much. Took 8 painful weeks to get the tow reimbursement from GM. Driving experience is why the Camaro gets 2 stars at least. Amazing steering feedback, plenty of power and good fuel economy from the V6 engine, although I wish GM did not have AFM for these. 5-star vehicle if it didn't break down on me.

Cam Super Car
4 cylinder is fast and economical, It rides good for a sports car and handles excellent. It is comfortable and has a solid built. The base car is an outstanding value. The only dislike is that it is super tight on the inside.

ZL1 fun
My 2023 ZL1 Camaro is beyond a joy to ride . I don’t care about back seats, trunk space , gas mileage or number of cup holders if I did I would’ve bought a mini van . If you want a car that’ll put a smile on your face and get your heart pumping just by hitting the ignition button the Camaro is good you.

Home Run
I stayed away from Camaros for years due to the limited view. Then I Test drove a ZL1 and any hangups due to negatives attributes evaporated. This machine is so good it astounds me. This is coming from a 911 turbo owner. The LT4 is a marvel of engineering. 650 foot pounds of torque from 2500 rpm to 5000 rpm ! The powerband is the entire rev range. With that amount of power I was expecting the car to be all over the road but the software/ stabilitrac Has been methodically perfected. The car knows what you are trying to do and assists you with grace. I really appreciate GM getting this right when many other brands didn’t. The car is smart the electronics are integrated seemlesly, and it needs it because the power plant is so potent. The engine sounds menacing as it howls in a deep throaty baritone as you accelerate, then snarls and growls as you let up. Yet, amazingly the cabin never drones or transmits an obnoxious level of decibels. You hear the engine for sure especially on start up but while driving road noise and drone are filtered out leaving only the sensational engine sound. The cabin is a wonderful place to be and really grows on you the more time you spend in the car. The seats are so good and so are all the controls. Now instead of cursing the visibility you are feeling like you are in the Batmobile and appreciate the bad ass look of the proportions and lines of the ZL1. You defiantly get used to it and also it is easy to get in and out of. The interior has a feel of quality despite some use of plastic. There are no rattles and the doors have a good weight to them when you close them, not like the flimsy feel of the mustang doors or the heavier doors of the challenger. The sound system along with the infotainment is excellent. It has all the creature comforts and wireless phone charging, heads up display, ambient lighting , all the neat stuff that reinforces the experience of piloting a hot modern machine. The handling, steering , and chassis dynamics are so damn good I kick myself for not buying one years ago. The body feels so rigid that you get the feeling of solidity. The car never seems to shift or flex under load or any condition. It is so planted for a rear wheel drive car, and sticks to the road on turns at speed when it seems it should go out of control. The turn in feel is amazing. The suspension is stiff but that is the price you pay and it is just right for this cars’ end purpose of hauling ass. Braking is great too, very smooth and linear. The A10 transmission is a dream to drive. The three modes are great. Put it in sport mode on surface streets and track for anything resembling a highway and you have instant shove in the back during part throttle acceleration. Full throttle in any mode will of corse unleash the beast. I think the Edmunds review was wrong on value and about the controls being difficult. This car could be cross shopped with anything from Europe on a performance and tech basis. It Rivals or surpasses cars with much, much higher price tags so how could it not be a 10 out of 10 in value? The Zl1Camaro is a front engine rear wheel drive v8 that has been optimized and refined and perfected to a standard that is above any other car in that category that I have experienced. However I guess it is not perfect. To tame 650 ft/lbs of torque is not an easy thing. It does not launch as fast as some others and if the outside temps are below 60 degrees Fahrenheit the traction suffers. Full blast straight line acceleration is not always perfectly straight. I have not driven it in the rain so I can’t speak to that. The car is addictive, i just want to keep driving even when I have arrived at my destination. It has a presence, and swagger and attitude that gives the owner a good feeling. It is a thrill to drive. I give it 5 Stars Curses on the Feds [non-permissible content removed] who make the future existence of such a great car and cars like it so Unlikely. <br>
Difficult to Use
I bought a 2023 Camaro at year end with 2 Options, Vivid Orange Metallic & Automatic. I Like the Turbo 4 cylinder, tranny ok. Do Not Like Visibility, hard to tell where Front End is front & side. Raise the seat up to see better & it goes forward also killing some leg room,( I'm 6ft tall ) Also hard to Keep Phone Charges, USB & Cigarette lighter cuts off power when car not running. Car does Handle Great. My 68 & 69 & 93 Camaro"s are Way more easy to tell where your front of car is & I think all the cig lighters work 24/7. I have 8 Camaro's now. Overall I Like the 2023 Camaro.

Expectations vs Realization of 2024 Camaro SS Conv
Love It! All i expected, and more. Powerful Dream to drive. All the Power i want, hugs road with nice tight steering. Negatives: 1) Horrible on Ice n Snow = avoid that. 2) Headlights seem to narrow down when approaching upward pavement, i then use Brights. This negative is a surprise. 3) Have to adjust the seat way back to enter, then forward to be able to drive. Worried the seat will break eventually, we shall see. 4) ? Positives: 1) I Absolutely LOVE my Camaro. 2) I am PROUD to be a Camaro owner. 3) So many "things" work so well, where to begin....? Love the Power and 6 speed manual trans 4) Surprise Positive is: I was inundated with negative vibes regarding "traffic to the side vision" out those "shoebox front windows", = Total nonsense! I see traffic around me Great - better than any other vehicle i have driven, and that is before the cool "radar' tells me there is a vehicle to either side - making awareness of vehicles near my side = Childsplay. Yes, UPWARD vision is restricted with those narrow windows, but i am not looking up... Most of planned use is on Sunny days, and then - i'll drop the top. Looking back on either side is GREATLY assisted by those LONG windows with no "pillar" blocking view - I have NEVER had better side traffic vision, and i am 70 years old. And this is before the cool side radar tells me a vehicle is near, and before i drop the top. 5) Final mention = the Cool Heads Up display that seems to be out in front of the hood showing - Speed, RPM, Gear being used = makes me feel like i am in a "Fighter Jet". I absolutely LOVE this 2024 Camaro SS Convertible. 6) Yes, i only had to pay MSRP to get it. Gregory Howard, Cincinnati Ohio

I love ❤️ it. 2023 2SS with 1LE package
September 2023. I just got the 2SS 1LE with the manual 6 speed. I had not driven a manual since 1985. But quickly got back into it. I wanted the 2SS because it has the rear view Camara. Now seeing out the back is a breeze! The recaro seats are very comfortable. My only gripe is that in certain times the computer forces you to go from 1st gear to 4th. It's really annoying.

ZL1 Is The Car You’ve Always Wanted
The Corvettes and Porsches are more refined but if you want a ballsy, loud and unapologetic American muscle car buy the ZL1. There’s nothing better to drive when you’re listening to Ozzy Osbourne!

The Camo Kid
The price for the base model is a steal. The four-cylinder base model costs about the same as an economy car. The car is solid and well put together. It is fast enough for a street car and it handles the same a an expensive sports car. The interior room is tight and missing blind spot / front / rear safety features on base model. This should be standard due to the serious blind spots that the car has.

2023 Camaro 2SS Camaro Rocks!
I’d been tempted to buy a C8 Corvette for some time but was never 100% sold on the styling or the typical $20,000 plus dealer markup. But when I spotted this 2SS convertible online at the local Chevy dealer I had to take it for a drive the next day. Loved everything about it and still get a thrill every time I drive it. It’s remarkably quiet with the top up and actually rides great due to the SS suspension upgrade. Has every must have feature like blind spot monitoring without it becoming somewhat annoying like the driver assist in my 2022 Mercedes 350 GLE. I’d recommend anyone in the market for V-8 powered convertible drive the Camaro SS if you can find one. The exhaust note alone will bring a smile to your face.

Zl1 is the best muscle car you can buy!
Not sure why all the songs on the back seat, visibility, trunk space, or controls 1 back seat…. It’s a muscle car no one cares about a back seat 2 visibility is actually decent especially with the rear view camera equipment in this car you fake to mention. 3 trunk space … lol again who cares it’s. A muscle car however it holds plenty for the two passengers it’s intended to carry. 4 controls??? Not sure you didn’t elaborate controls are all great this car. Bottom line is you had to find something to ding the car on and anyone with half a brain will know if this is all you have negative it’s damn near perfect! This review was a waste of time

Camaro with 2.0 turbo has plenty of power
I had my car in the shop for repairs one day and needed a car. Went to Hertz and asked for the cheapest car they had. "Do you mind a two door?" They said. "No," I said. I walked out to find a black Camaro with a sunroof and a 4 popper. "Wow," I thought to myself. Anyway, I have owned a lot of cars but none of them handled like this one. I've had V8s, Mercedes and other sports cars, but this handled amazingly well. The sunroof made it less claustrophobic. I started reading reviews and they all said this was the best handling car in the segment, and the V8 was overkill unless you are taking it to the track. Well, my car in the shop was thirteen years old and dead reliable so I thought I was due for a fun car. I found one 90 miles away with the sunroof and Recaro seats and I bought it. What this car needs and I bought right away, was blind spot mirrors than can be glued on to the current mirrors. If you are overweight do not get the Recaro seats. You wont fit. They fit me perfectly and are the most comfortable car seats I've ever had. When I was younger I had a Mitsubishi Starion turbo. That was a real looker and a great car. This car reminds me of that one, but it is much more advance in every way except visibility. The eight speed auto shifts smoothly and gives you power when you need it. If you add blind spot mirrors and don't need to use the back seat, this car is a no brainer. Knowing GMs history they always get the car right in the last year they build it, so I bought a 2023 4 popper the last year of its type. You'll enjoy the car if you get it. And you should get it while you can. Good Luck!

ZL1 Better Than All The Rest!
Looks mean and sexy in radiant red tintcoat with the black grill ,splitter , carbon fiber hood side skirts, and rear diffuser. The wheels look better than anything on Corvette , Dodge or Ford they are stunning and very intricately detailed. The tires are sticky and will throw rocks or debris up on the sides so have paint protection and mud flaps installed. Push the start button and it sounds like the devil screaming. The interior has very nice Recaro seats that are heated and cooled with great adjustability . The A/C controls are small buttons but have a tactical quality feel . The temperature is controlled by the A/C ducts at the center console. You adjust the temp by spinning the metallic looking bezel around the 2 center ducts. Very cool works great. The touch screen is very fast and gives you access to engine sounds ,performance modes ,electronic options, accent lighting for the interior ,and many other features. The backup camera is great. The review mirror gives you like 3 camera options or you can use the actual mirror. The Bose stereo is one of the better Bose systems I’ve ever heard but I’m not really a Bose fan . I have HIFI in my home with Focal speakers and MICHI amplifiers. I’m used to much better sound quality. The 6 speed I first encountered in my 91 Corvette ,& I can only say I think it’s even better especially with the lazy man’s rev matching for down shifts. Mag ride I just can’t say enough good things about it . It rides like a dream when you want it to and rides on rails when you want it to. The back seat folds down flat nicely . The Alcantara cleans with just a little cleaner occasionally and brushes back like new. I love the low roof line but you have to keep aware of traffic signals the low roof can block. The trunk opening is small but the trunk will hold quite a bit of stuff. This car drives ez , effortlessly at slow speeds but even more so at higher speeds. It’s fun to drive . You have to have self control to keep your license . This car is in a way to fast to fully enjoy . The regular V8 or V6 I think are more fun with the manual as you can enjoy ringing its neck through the gears ,but with the supercharged V8 ringing its neck going from 2nd to 3rd gear and you are already at go to jail speeds . In my mind the coupe is the best . It has the beautiful hard top lines you lose with a convertible or sunroof.

The car that you will crave driving
The sixth gen Camaro is known for its handling and the 2024 1LT does not disappoint. I bought the most base trim, and it still feels like a supercar. In fact, the Camaro really is more sports car than muscle car in my opinion. This is due to its exotic low profile and ability to hug corners beautifully. What I like most is the fit, especially for a tall person (I'm 6'4"). The steering wheel can be set high just below the site line and helps you feel low and planted in the driver's seat. I also have plenty of room for my legs and head. I have a manual, so get a bit more control of the gears. The feel of manual is remarkably firm and sporty. I smile each time I do a hard pull in 2nd gear and hear the V6 growl. Speaking of the V6, it puts out plenty of power and sounds divine. The engineers really tuned it nicely, and on cold start up, you get a pop or two. Going into sport mode does not seem to change too much, but it does seem to increase the engine volume a tad. Many potential Camaro owners worry about the visibility, but I can safely say, it is not really an issue except when exiting parking garages with steep ramps. You just have to be careful. I would recommend the 3LT trim, which has the camera rearview mirror. That will help with seeing out the back. Thank goodness all Camaros have a backup camera in any case. One thing that has surprised me is the practicality of the rear trunk (boot). It has plenty of cargo space and I even once put six bags of mulch in there, without even having the seats down. I also carry my dogs in the backseats with no problems. Overall, this car is a dream, but may not be for everyone, as it is pure sports car. Regardless, it works perfectly as a daily driver. If I had any cons, it would be the small screen on the 1LT trim, average stereo, and useless back seats. But we don't buy Camaros to act as Subarus, we buy them for the love of sporty driving. In short, the Camaro has lived up to my expectations and is currently my dream car.

Wow 1Le
I have owned mustangs with the amazing 5.0 engine and although not a fan boy I always thought of the camaro as an old school car with a push rod V8. After selling the Stang years ago and not wanting to spend 90k on a weekend warrior (talking about you M4-M2) I did alot of research on the Camaro 1Le. I purchased one in August and all I can say is wow! It's a blue 2019 and it's an absolute monster in every sense. It can handle, accelerate, brake and turn heads. I am in awe at what Chevrolet is capable of. The Alpha platform deserves all the praise it has gotten and the LT1 is imo the best sounding V8 Engine on the planet. I finally understand the amusement of having massive amounts of torque on demand. I will gladly give up a higher revving V8 for more torque. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a SPORTS CAR and or a muscle car. It truly is a world class American sports car.
