Used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Consumer Reviews
2002 AVALANCHE
We switched from toyota 4-runners and bought an Avalanche as opposed to a toyota sequoia. We have had the vehicle for 6 months and it has been flawless so far. My only complaints about the design are that the storage compartments in the fenders are not dustproof and the space over the wheel wells on the fenders are not protected from other people opening the car doors and smashing them into the side of the Avalanches fender.
My Transformer and Wonder Truck
At first site I thought this was the ugliest truck I had ever seen. My son talked me into test driving one. I have been in Love ever since. It rides like a dream and there is enough interior space to make every one comfortable. The Dog even loves it. I have taken it apart for everyone I know and even perfect strangers at a Ford dealership. For the folks that have had trouble with leakage from the back window or gasket, get that truck back to your dealer now! A badly manufactured window that cracked is the culpurate. They replaced the padding and carpet, the window and gasket after torrential rains in our area leaked into the cab of the truck.

I am sold
I have been a suburban buyer for years. I went to the dealership that I always deal with. Drove the new suburban and was ready to purchase. For the heck of it my bud who I deal with all the time ask me to test drive the Avalanche. I was sold once I got into it. Had all the comfort, power, and drove better than the burb. The next day I returned to purchased the Avalanche after driving them both again. Trust me the looks will grow on you.We have had some very strong storms this spring in MO no leaks. If your a burb user like I was. You use the back half more to haul cargo than passengers. Need to look at the Avalanche.
avalanche
excellent ride. good pickup. great styling. built in tool boxes/ ice chest is great.expect many good years of service
Fun gas guzzler
Up to this point the Avalanche has been a unique fun experience. I traded in a Ford Expedition and dont regret it. The extra acceleration and smoother than expected ride of my new chevy is the highlight of my switch. I added 22 inch wheels and the truck really looks sharp and aggressive with a menacing look and stance. The Avalanche makes you feel secure and in control on the busy highways of the big congested city.
