2025 Cadillac XT5 Consumer Reviews

Great Luxury Car
I have a 2023 XT5 Premium Luxury AWD (3.6L V6) that I bought used with 47000 miles. 2500 miles and 3 months later, no issues. Only replaced the rear tires, engine air filter and cabin air filter, because they were all original and were worn out. Love that the GM 3.6L V6 is in it, because I can take it to any GM dealer for service and it takes regular gas. Only complaint is occasional jerky transmission shifts between gears 1-3. Ride is smooth and quiet, steering is light and precise, standard driver assistance features are very helpful. The interior isn’t as premium as the competition, but the competition makes you pay more for the badge and a smaller, less powerful engine that needs premium fuel. Reviewers say that it doesn’t stack up to the BMW X3 or Mercedes GLC, which can be argued for fit and finish, but those cars cost more upfront and long term. Cargo space is also amazing and class leading; I play the double bass and my standard 3/4 size bass fits perfectly behind the front seats with the 2nd row folded down. All in all, love this car, it’s all you need in a luxury car.

Red and beaming!
I love my car! Until I don't This is my 5th SRX-XT5 and I have had no major issues with them. I rated 4 stars because of the console size and cup holders are way too small.

Love My XT5
I am just ordered my third XT5. I guess it will be the last Cadillac XT5 since they are sadly being discontinued. My first XT5 was a Luxury Model, Second was the Sport Model and the one on order is the Premium Luxury. The pricing has gone up a fair amount since my Sport model which was loaded with options. I have no complaints except for the squeaky breaks which was an issue on all of my XT5's. The dealership replaced them with upgraded brake pads and this solved the problem on my last two XT5's. I love the V6 engine and would never take the four cylinder. The speed this car has is exceptional. The ride is good, interior is great and the storage is more than enough for my needs. I am upset with Cadillac for going all EV. I expect this to be my last Cadillac and will drive it as long as I can. My last five cars have been the Cadillac SRX and XT5. I feel betrayed by Cadillac giving the XT5 to the Chinese and ignoring your North American clients, Shame on you!! IF you are in the market for an XT5 now go for it. It is a great car. Get the V6. Comfortable, user-friendly tech, and good mileage!
I absolutely love my 2025 XT5 V6, AWD, Premium Luxury. After 6k miles, I am happy to report no issues. It is the most comfortable car I’ve ever owned and I found the technology easy to learn and use. This has a world of features that make driving safe and pleasurable. It is more reliable than a friend’s Nautilus, and has much more back seating space (shoulder to shoulder) then a Genesis GV70! I can only hope the XT5 will continue to be built!!!
