American Engineering
Very well built car. Almost 15 years old with no rust, clean leather, no tears. Drives well, handles well. Poor fuel mileage, and expensive to run premium fuel. Perfect example of a high quality American automobile. Northstar engine is amazing!!
My 20 yr old cadillac eldorado
I love my 1994 cadillac eldorado touring coupe I have owned it for 10 years...Its a beautiful car and noone can believe how old it is...It has around 155000 miles on it...I have had to replace the air conditioner r compressor and some othe miner things But is is so sharp looking...I also have louder mufflers on it then the orginal and when you shower down on it it sounds like a little race car...It sounds great. My kids say Mom when are you getting a new car and Im thinking all the time my car is probably a better car than their new ones...still love it..,

Great car!
I have to say that this car is one of the better cars i have ever driven. i bought it for $1,800 and it was worth it. Very clean inside and out. Not very many problems with it. Blower and window motor went out but very easy fix. Handles like a dream and a lot of fun to drive.
Nice Ride
I own the 1995 model and it has been running great. Because of old age, however, I had to replace radiator due to cracking on the plastic pieces. As this car gets older, I am sure I will have to replace some other plastic dry rotted parts. But other than the shocks and struts, road sensing suspension going bad, it has been a great car. Even if it gets 18 to 19 MPG. If you do replace parts, and you are going to keep the car till its eventual total failure, just make sure you buy quality automotive parts--don't go cheap.
Great Car
I like the older Seat better but it lack the Bose sound system that the other 96+ have. I would stay the 95 rides better and handle better then the 96+.
I Love my Eldorado!
She is the best car I have ever owned. Despite her bad tranny (fiancee was racing her) she has done me good. The tranny went bad in November of 2009 and still (April 2010) running strong just not shifting past 40 MPH. People all the time look over oh hey it's a Cadillac. It sure is Luxury with the heated seats and yep I'd recommend to any one and every one.
95 CADILLAC ETC W/NORTHSTAR THE SHARK
I own one and it's a blast to own. My mileage exceeds the amount posted. The NORTHSTAR engine runs like new and had over 337500 miles! The dealer said it's like new, no leaks, no reduced compression, no mechanical issues at all. The body is in original condition and has no rust. Member International LaSalle and Cadillac club. Have won multiple 1st and 2nd place & 1st @ GM Nationals. Proof 21yr old ETC w/NORTHSTAR engine istruly a great car. Still low maintenance, luxury car thats a fun car that rules the road like a "shark", a true touring coupe. An elegant, ageless, high performance "sports" car. This is mot your grandfather's Cadi. The Shark is factory original and eating up the show circuit showing how gracefully Cadillacs age. This was a commuter and family car explaining the 337,500 miles. It was a special order car, and special and outstanding in all ways. The show career is only just begun, keep in mind it's a young classic with many years of showing ahead and increasing exponentially in value. Current value is $15,750. Not bad for a 22 year old car. Unique and outstanding in 95, even more so I'm 2017. Doesn't show age. Unable to go to regular, shows, but at Cadillac shows winning 1st in category and 2nd @ GM Nationals. Now purely a show car. A survivor factory original and rust free. Update, Sept 2018. At the Cadillac spring show, 1st place in class, Cadillac regionals, 1st place in class, Carlisle Chevy Nationals, (GM Nationals), 3rd place. This car is a 100% show car. It is driven to all the shows. Did replace the trunk motor, seals around the sunroof and front end alignment.

What a Car!
What a car, great performance, comfort, and I average 22mpg. This is one of my all-time favorite cars. I have had almost no mechanical problems and now with 180,000 miles it still runs like new. I love the body style on my ETC and have no complaints about this automobile.
Nice Car
This car is a sleeper. Very quick 40-85 mph. Decent fuel economy for a V8. Engine runs hotter and has led to problems such as leaking head gaskets and oil burning. The design of the seats is amazing, passengers will be stunned by the comfort. This vehicle handles very well.
Great sporty luxury vehicle
I am receiving 18.6 mpg in the city and 23 mpg highway. Better gas mileage at 75- 85 mph
Luxury and proformance.
Very sporty, easy to pass just about anything on the highway. There is quite a bit of torque steer when you gun it from a dead stop, but in accelerating into a turn, or from a rolling start it holds up quite well. The interior is leather everything, a higher quality i'd say than even the newer CTS models which use cheap plastics. It does guzzle gas, and runs premium, but with cruise control on over the highway it will average 26 mpg, astonishing for such a large car. Although it is large, heavy and not exceptionally low to the ground, it corners with very little body roll, feels stanced and planted well. It's as comfortable at 140 as it is at 65, tho you'll be getting 5mpg or less.
This car rips!
My 1994 Cadillac Eldorado is my first car, and im proud to own such a reliable and fun car. When i bought it at $900, it had 97,780 miles on it, and it ran like it was brand new. For a car thats 20 years old, i only need to fix a computer that runs the heaters, new rear tires, and exhaust leaks. Either though its FWD, it has its benefits, it wont get stuck in the snow. And the power delivery is incredible for what it is. This this hauls ass! The tires spin at half throttle and will burn the tire right off. The comfort of driving this machine is great too. blue leather bucket seats. (at least mine is) Handling is surprisingly great for a heavy fwd sedan. The fastest its gone is 157mph. FAST
Eldorado Owner
Very pleased with the performance and power of this vehicle! My first Cadillac, originally wanted or was most interested in obtaining a Seville, but opportunity to purchase my Eldorado instead and upon seeing it wanted to own and haven't been dissapointed with it yet, with the occassional exception of problem with dash lighting.
Burns oil
Car is fast, reliable, economical and fun to drive. I think that its styling is still is better looking than any car in the market place even today. We still get a lot of compliments about it. Problem, the north star engine is notorius for burning oil. Most dealers wont admit it but I have talked with many northstar owners and they all tell stick and have to be cleaned out by their special process but at a cost of $450.00. It worked pretty well but now it gets 900 miles per quart. I was told that another cleaning will do the job. Now that is $900.00 to take care of a problem that shouldnt happen in the first place .
1995 Eldorado
The design of the 1995 Eldorado is beautiful and perfect. The interior though, including the trunk, leaves much to be desired. The interior seems poorly designed. There are no bins or little areas to stash road maps and such. Mechanically, the Cadillac is designed wery well and the Northstar Engine seems perfect, except that is uses more oil than any car I have ever owned. When accellerating at full power, if the steering wheel is not exactly straight, the steering wheel will be jerked straight and the car will be zig zagging for a while until it finds an equilibrium. Fuel mileage is very good for this type car.
Excellent Overall Vehicle
This car is amazing. To be able to out perform many other luxury cars on the road and still maintain a very comfortable ride while doing so. This car has extremely fast acceleration and excellent road sensing suspension. This car is very fun to drive all the time.
Used 1995 Eldorado
Picked up a beautiful 95. 32V Northstar with 104,000 miles on it for $1200. Tweeked a few things and an new AC compressor So for about $2200 I have a great running, powerful luxurious Caddy. I’m 70 and drive maybe 4K miles a year. Everything works burns a bit of oil but couldn’t be happier. Only complaint is I’m 6’5” and a bit low to the ground getting out

POWERFUL
I've owned the car for a year and it now as 136000 miles on it. I have had repairs consisting of water pump, heater core, and a/c compressor but I am not displeased. With these type of miles you'll have to replace something eventually. Replacing a heater core is so simple and takes about 2 hours to complete. The comfort is another impression of what Cadillac has been know for. It is truly hard to believe with it's features, this is a 15 year old car. Very happy!
very good car, worth every penny
just turned over 97K, and have done minimal repairs, matinece will keep this engine running 300K!
Sad Eldo
My 1994 Cadillac Eldorado could have been a classic, but like a typical American made product, I've had nothing but problems with this car. The engine leaks oil. I never could really use it the way I had hoped. such as on long trips across country in comfort. It was always on the verge of breaking down. My Eldorado was very poorly built and had lousy fit and finish. No more Cadillacs for me.
what a rush
I could not believe the power that the northstar has. wanted one in 1994 but list was 63000.00. patiently waited and picked one up for 1800.00 in 2009. Could only imagine how the ride was when new.
Get Power and Comfort.
Every since I bought my Eldorado I have been comparing it to every car i ride in. I have yet to ride in a vehicle that combines power and comfort as well as the Eldo,( and my friends own BMWs and Mercedes.) All of my friends compliment me on the comfort of my Eldo. It's a great car to have if you desire comfort and power.
Beauty and the Beast
This car is Jekel & Hyde. She's gorgeous and eats mustangs and camaros for breakfast, very fast. After a few years, with excellent upkeep, the interior seems to be falling apart. If you can find a one-owner owned by some old folks, buy it. If it has multiple owners or over 60k miles, stay away- things are getting ready to break one after another
one nice car
This car has Great Design and Comfort the instruments readings are driver friendly as well as the controls. In other vehicles I have had, I have had trouble seeing all Instrument read outs In this Eldorado ALL contols are no problem at all to see. The motor has no vibrations, there is no wind noise. The ride is great, the only smother ride if possible would be in a jet plane. Gas mileage last week I made 24.7 MPG in Urban driving. GM did one GREAT JOB when they Build this car This Car is not your DADDY"S Cadillac Have a clean road ahead when you give it gas for this 32 valve V8 335 HP North Star engine is going to leave them all in the Dust.
Muscle car?
I purchased a 1995 Polo Edition Eldorado about 6 weeks ago through ebay. This car is a bit different than most Eldorado's because of the Polo edition equipment. It is, of course, Polo green. It has a fake convertible top with embroyderen Polo Edition logo on the sides of the foof. The seat head rests are also embroydered with a wreath and logo. It has a chrome logo on each front fender that says "Roadster". The grill consists of vertical chrome bars and it has aun/moon roof. It is in beautiful condition.
Rating as an owner
Wish I could have had the pleasure of experiencing one either fresh off the show floor or with less wear and tear on it, but I was more than impressed with the pure power and performance of the car!
SPORTY CADILLAC
Underrated
Lemon year-run as fast as you can
I bought this car with 57,000 on it and have put almost $10,000 into it in the last 2 years and it keeps breaking down about every 2 months and cost about $500 or more to fix. I feel guilty selling the car to somebody else because I know they will have the same trouble. The car stalls after you drive 5 miles. I get it fixed and then it works for a while and then breaks again. It pours oil. The tranny is jerking and pretty much I feel like every time I drive it I am lucky to get it home to the driveway again. It is a beautiful Pearl White car and I wish someone could pinpoint the stalling problem. If anyone knows about the stalling let me know. It stalls when I slow down or stop.
awesome car
I purchase a 1994 eldorado from a auction in jan. 2009, in the 3 months since I have had no problems at all with this car. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, black with beige leather interior, power everything, and I still can't believe that it's a 15 year old car. The prior owner or owners really babied this car and it shows. It rides so smooth and quiet, its like flying. And the best part about it is I only paid $400 for it.
The Last Great American Coupe!
I have been fortunate enough in my life to have owned 3 Eldorados. Each one has been better and better. They have a look all there own. There comfort level in the front seats is unsurpassed. I cannot think of one thing not to like on this car. I manage to get 30 mpg on the highway out of my 94 with 97,600 miles on it. If you can find one in good shape and need a fun and reliable second car, BUY IT!!!
94 Eldarodo "The Bom"
I have been driving my 94 Eldarado for three years now and it is aa great car The most comfortable ride you will ever desire. It is tough on gas but hey, you have to give something to get something. This car also has "presence" - it is attractive and invasive. You need to drive it!
Still a great car after 14 years
Bought this car used, 1 year old with 13000 miles. Today, it has 146000 miles. Had to do the normal repairs but nothinbg major except a new air conditioing compressor. Also 1 window motor died and had to be replaced. Still looks stylish and fun to drive.
good car
The car is excellent. Look at the leather compared to cheaper cars leather (even our 2001 Sable), it's like comparing veal to steak. I think they used veal leather, heheh. Mine has the Bose stereo with cassette and cd, I don't even need to upgrade it. It shifts soft when I take it easy, hard when I want to haul, and when it downshifts at speed it is commanding. It has a 3.71 axle ratio but in overdrive I can cruise at 85 mph at right around 3000 rpm and get 20+ mpg. A near non-compromising luxury/performance mixture.
Nice ETC
Overall I am very satisfied with my ETC
Bucket
Since day one the Caddillac has been nothing but lacking. I would not recommend it.
Kick ass car
I bought this car for $400 it is a 1994 2 door coupe. It is a remarkable car it handled well and it looks great. I only wish I would have had the money to buy one in 1994.
