HANDLES FAR BETTER WHEN YOU EXPLORE CAPABILITIES!
As a Senior driver with accident-free driving in all kinds of cars since 1960, and MANY high-powered ones in the group, this past week's country driving in Northwestern Ontario absolutely made me fall in love with the handling of this vehicle I've already owned for almost one year! (2023 Buick Envision Avenir) On large superhighways, the car steers and tracks so perfectly and effortlessly it feels like it's in some kind of automatic mode even when it's not! THEN, when it's driven on a "dirt/gravel" road in a true wilderness environment, being able to select a driving mode (one of several choices!) for OFFROAD HANDLING, this car absolutely SHINES! On a 90 kilometer (about 55+ miles) forest logging road enroute to a remote fishing lodge, the longest straight part was never more than about 75 yards before more sharp gravel curves, constant blind steep dirt hills and bends, potholes, etc. I cannot image ANY vehicle being more stable and secure when driven over big bumps and bends and fallen tree branches and all. Even the mileage was terrific! On this part of our road trip on this logging road, the only vehicles we encountered were 4-wheel drive trucks! By the way, our car was "loaded" with all manner of heavyweight fishing needs & gear for 2 people. When back in 'civilization' & driven on superhighways, our overall gas mileage averaged just 6.7 liters per 100 kilometers (60+ miles) ie. about 12 gallons Cdn. of regular gas over total driving of about 600 miles! So if anyone wants a classy urban-looking SUV with lots of handy features and smooth driving in a car that changes personality as you need it to, I can't recommend anything better than our Buick Envision Avenir. Buick Should Be Ashamed
I recently downsized from a Buick Enclave to a new 2024 Envision ST, and as someone who has been buying cars for over 40 years, I have to say this has been the worst automobile purchase I have ever made. The Enclave was one of the best vehicles I've ever owned, but the Envision is a complete disappointment. It doesn’t even come close to the quality that Buick used to represent. Instead, this car feels cheaply made and poorly assembled—just a shadow of the Buicks I once knew. I’ve owned the Envision for less than five weeks, yet it’s already spent nearly three of those weeks in the shop. As of yesterday, the dealership informed me it would need to stay there for another one to two weeks. And keep in mind—this is a brand-new car. With issues like missing paint on the roof, a dead battery, and broken interior trim, the biggest flaw is the unbearable road noise. Around town, it’s manageable, but during an 11-hour road trip with my wife (a trip we’ve taken more than 50 times in various cars), the noise at highway speeds was overwhelming. It was so loud that we had to give up trying to have a conversation, and by the end of the trip, we were miserable. It’s a sharp-looking car, but that is where anything positive about it ends. In short, this car is terrible. I strongly advise against purchasing the 2024 Envision ST. Buick should be ashamed to release such a low-quality product.

This car does not get the recognition it deserves
The styling both inside and outside are very impressive. Comfort level is indeed very comfortable, all the safety features work well and are a welcome feature, the ride is supple, and the interior noise level is very quiet you can actually have a conversation with your passengers. The standard engine with its 9 speed transmission delivers quick acceleration 0-6 will come in at 7.3 seconds Gas mileage is competitive with other makers.

A few changes
I bought this car with 16,000 miles. So far it's been a good car. It's smooth ride. I like how quiet it is. The only whish it had a lumbar support. My car i traded in was not a luxury car. It had lumbar support. Only other I would like a little less plastic. It would make more luxurious. Overall I'm happy with it.

DEEP DISCOUNTT!
I purchased a new 2023 Buick Envision Essence ST AWD with panoramic roof december 2023. I have read some of the negative comments about the car. It is unfortunate people have negative things to say. I have nothing but positive things to say about my Envision after driving it for 13000 miles. MSRP was $44,ish.. Dealer took off $12000. for $32000 it is great. No problems. 50/50 city/highway driving averaging 26mpg. Power is more then adequate. Comfortable on long road trips. If i paid MSRP i would not be so happy. There are Deals out there. have 2014 Regal that i have owned since new with similar 2.0 turbo engine that now had 133000 miles. Never had an issue. still goiong.. hopefully my 2023 Envision will be just as great!
