HANDLES FAR BETTER WHEN YOU EXPLORE CAPABILITIES!
As a Senior driver with accident-free driving in all kinds of cars since 1960, and MANY high-powered ones in the group, this past week's country driving in Northwestern Ontario absolutely made me fall in love with the handling of this vehicle I've already owned for almost one year! (2023 Buick Envision Avenir) On large superhighways, the car steers and tracks so perfectly and effortlessly it feels like it's in some kind of automatic mode even when it's not! THEN, when it's driven on a "dirt/gravel" road in a true wilderness environment, being able to select a driving mode (one of several choices!) for OFFROAD HANDLING, this car absolutely SHINES! On a 90 kilometer (about 55+ miles) forest logging road enroute to a remote fishing lodge, the longest straight part was never more than about 75 yards before more sharp gravel curves, constant blind steep dirt hills and bends, potholes, etc. I cannot image ANY vehicle being more stable and secure when driven over big bumps and bends and fallen tree branches and all. Even the mileage was terrific! On this part of our road trip on this logging road, the only vehicles we encountered were 4-wheel drive trucks! By the way, our car was "loaded" with all manner of heavyweight fishing needs & gear for 2 people. When back in 'civilization' & driven on superhighways, our overall gas mileage averaged just 6.7 liters per 100 kilometers (60+ miles) ie. about 12 gallons Cdn. of regular gas over total driving of about 600 miles! So if anyone wants a classy urban-looking SUV with lots of handy features and smooth driving in a car that changes personality as you need it to, I can't recommend anything better than our Buick Envision Avenir. So disappointed
I went from a Terrain Denali to an Avenir and I’m so disappointed, the power is good, the drive is “ok” but the rough shifting of gears and the abrupt stopping is not good at all. It feels so small to me cargo wise and the blind spots are ridiculous, I love driving but actually am nervous driving this. I am not happy at all with this vehicle so after 4 months looking to trade it! 13th GM vehicle and the only one I’m not happy about-

Avenir is nice. Get all the options
The 20" rims look nice but hard to balance. The contenetal tires are road force bad on half of them. Make sure it runs smooth before buying it or your screwed. But the car is luxury all the way. I love the Buick envision Avenir loaded.

Beware of lack of lumbar support.
Disappointed that front seats for this top-of-the-line Avenir did not come with lumbar support. It was not pointed out. The credits that Buick gave for lack of side mirror assist and side back-up alerts are not enough and lack of those items will greatly affect re-sale value by more than the amount of credits.
A Stunner
I purchased a 2024 Envision Avenir one week ago. Much like my 2018 Regal GS that I just traded in, people are stopping to ask what kind of car it is and that they love the looks. The cabin is very comfortable and the interior design is a major upgrade. I am still learning all about the 30” screen but the technology is first class. Finally, the engine and transmission are much better than I had expected coming from a fast V6 car. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.
