My New BMW 2025 X3
Love the new redesigned X3, very quiet, love the new seats and the wraparound screen, it is quiet and a major improvement from the 2024 X3. No more run flat tires, higher horsepower than the 2024, nice acceleration, i am getting 32 mpg on the road, 29 mpg in town.

Ordered,Arrived fast, Ignored naysayers
I traded my 2021 X3 with only 8000 miles for the 2025 X3 30. This is a different vehicle. The size has been tweaked in width and length and creates a larger feel in the cabin. The fit and finish of the seats is greatly improved. I like that AWD is now standard. The engine has more powerful output with mild hybrid standard. I don’t mind the moonroof as I live in Florida and opening sunroof just adds a lot of heat. The premium package is a must and has great added features. I added air cooled seats and Harman sound system all for $56100. The tech is a quick learn. Time for them to update manual steering wheel to electronic. The flat back is a different look for sure but somehow goes with this look.

Much to like and much to hate
I have driven BMW's for over 40 years and get new BMW's often. We have had numerous 3 and 5 series cars, X3, X4, and X5's, 3 M3's one M5. We have had every generation of X3 both 4 and 6 cylinder models and loved them all, until the 2025 model. The car drives and performs great but the infotainment, navigation, displays and Climate control is just awful! Controls and displays can be figured out while sitting still but while driving nearly every function requires extra effort and is very distracting to the point of dangerous. Even adjusting the AC vents is clumsy. This is not a learning curve issue, it is the ability to operate functions while driving on a long road trip at high speeds. This car puts me in a bad mood every time I get in it. There are completely useless displays for driving modes with artwork that I must scroll through at every startup to get the tach display with sport mode. The driving assistance changes the following distance at random while using the active cruise control. The tactile feel of any selections on the center console panel and steering wheel buttons is poor and they do not always work. An example is activation or de activating cruise control. Voice commands are a joke. We traded in a 2023 X3 and I wish we had it back.

A Stylish, Powerful SUV with a Few Quirks
The BMW X3 has long been a staple SUV, and the 2025 model continues that trend with its sleek design, potent performance, and advanced technology. However, while the 2025 X3 delivers on many fronts, a few frustrating quirks prevent it from achieving complete perfection...a) not sunroof (it is only a moonroof now - nice and wide, but it doesn't open). b) they over did the all- touchscreen and it takes 2 or 3 clicks to adjust simple things that were soooo easy, one touch before. Plus is frustrating when the car play doesn't immediately works (which happens more often than you would like), c) the rear of the car is flat. This is an aesthetic change, I know, however I dislike the look as it went from kind of aerodynamic look to flat rear.
Finally a Comfortable X3
The ride is way better than previous X3. It’s quick and on Sport setting, dangerously fast. The M50 is a quiet and comfortable daily driver in Comfort or Sport settings. However, there are areas we do not like. Every control is touch screen and saving settings for two drivers has been a nightmare. We miss traditional buttons and easy memory settings. Not sure we will keep this one
