Daily Commuter with Benefits
Absolutely love this car. Has been performing well as a daily commuter, but has the power and performance when I have a chance to push it.

YEEEESSSSSS-7!
Absolutely love the fit & finish of this car! The silver leather quilted interior is excellent, and I get a lot of compliments on it. But the best thing is the acceleration and handling. It has all that, and more! Fabulously smooth turbos will put you back into your seat. The only downside is the cost of maintenance-$1900 for the 35k service? Really?!? For essentially a tune up and filter replacement? That, and the fact that after three years, and only 15,000 additional miles, the car I paid $65k for from the dealer's wife is only worth half of that. I truly expected it to hold its value better. But I do love the car. UPDATE: still have the S7 and still love it. I was going to trade it in for a 2020 BMW last year, but just couldn’t do it. Bought the X5 as my daily driver, but kept Audi. Again: service is tough. A new starter and a new battery plus to service to install both came to $3800. My own fault for not driving it enough, but still….pricey. The value has not decreased much since the last review, so that has leveled off. Still love the feel of the car, the smoothness of the amazing acceleration, and the handling through winding roads. It’s getting “dated” in the tech department, but I can’t part with it! Like a 35 year marriage: it’s not perfect, but it’s solid! Update: still can’t part with it, despite outdated tech - but what it does have works well! Guess I’ll keep her!

S7 Prestige
Purchased 2016 S7 in Feb2019 just off lease w 19,400 on clock. Bought it after test drive with 2 other people waiting to drive it. Glad I did. What a car. Power, speed, comfort, active cruise control is a great feature when some crazy cuts in front of you and slows down. Way better than my wife’s 2017 Q5 3.0T V6. Get one and you won’t regret it. However, I change engine oil every 4000 to 5000 miles. Not the Audi 10,000. It’s cheap insurance considering twin turbo repair prices. I had a 2008 Nissan Altima V6 with CVT which I sold in December 2018 with 172,400 miles on it. Changed oil every 4000 miles in it also. Ran like a top even at highway speed with passing at over 100 miles per hour. The V6 was strong. The Audi 4.0 is good also. It now has 33,000. The engine is high performance. Therefore frequent oil change is what I do. Great car. Eye candy. Black w black optic, black wheels and black chrome.
Best all around car I've ever owned!
Price is more than I wanted to pay, but it met all my criteria for the perfect car...and I have owned many. Pros: Long trip comfort, acceleration (joy to drive), braking (will put you at risk of being rear-ended in traffic), top of its class high-speed handling, excellent fuel economy (for a high performance sedan). This is a very well balanced vehicle. Cons: Relatively high dealer maintenance costs.

S7 Heaven
I have had my S7 for two weeks now and it is an amazing vehicle. I just got rid of my Porsche 911 as I decided I needed a little more refinement with my driving experience. The S7 is explosively powerful, quiet, nimble and incredibly fun to drive. The blend of driving performance, technology and comfort is astonishing and I could not be happier in this car. I get more stares and more comments on my S7 than I ever did on my 911 and that is something a car nut like myself also appreciates ... people say "I love your car" and I say "So do I, thanks!"
