I love this car
This car combines SUV with luxury. I traded in my 2016 RDX for the 2024 RDX. There isn't anting not to like about this car. I loved my other one, but this one is top notch.

No a good car at all
terrible car and will not recommend to anyone with the Tech pac issue. I got the car less than 1 month. a lot warning issues come up, such auto braked if senses a person in front of you. And a lot warnings come up for less than 1 month driving. I will never ever buy this brand anymore.

HATE the Touchpad
I like my Acura but I absolutely hate the touchpad. I hate it so much that I am looking at trading my car in for a different car with a touchscreen. Also the auto trunk doesn't work great. Sometimes it will open when I sweep my foot under and sometimes it won't even though it is set up to do so. I love Acura this is my 3rd Acura but unless they change the touchpad for touchscreen it will be my last.

wish I had something else
I live in Ottawa, Canada, so my experience is related to where I live. Also, before this car, I had an Audi Q5 and Infiniti G35, so take it with a grain of salt. coming from V6 to this little inline 4 with turbo, I can feel the difference. while 10 AT transmission makes smooth shifts, the car is slow off the start, and slow at the highway passing. this lack of power also translates into weak A/C. I have never had an A/C this weak, yes, including my little honda Civc from 15 years back... And the fuel economy is only marginally better than V6. So if you have a choice, don't go with this 2.0L inline 4. It sucks. then its 1500LBs towing capacity... if you are planning to tow anything more than a bike rack or kayak trailer, you are very likely to be disappointed. let's just say the smallest open trailer from homedpot rental is weighted at 1300LBs. in other words, you can only tow 200LBs or less, and assume you have no passengers at the same time. then comes to the security of the car. This car is so easily stolen, and it is one of the top 10 stolen cars. the insurance will be higher than you expected. here in Canada, it gets so bad, that my insurance company told me to install a tracking system at my own cost at $300+, or it will increase my insurance by $300/year... and a few more things I found annoying: 1. emergency braking. this is the most annoying, outright dangerous feature in this car. it floored my brake when the car in front of me pulled off the lane, with only a little bit of tails still in the lane. as an experienced driver one would be able to just drive around, with no need to slow down, right? no, this feature will floor your brake, and send everything from the backseat to the back of your head. and if this happens in an icy condition, good luck if you don't kill someone or being killed. at least 3 times happened to me. the last time, I almost ran into a bus! 2. windshield wiper has a mind of its own. It is unpredictable. while most of the time it behaves, from time to time, I wonder if a teenager is behind its controller.... 3. the touchpad... I mean, really? it is not only inconvenient but also outright dangerous. Say you are in the middle of a complex fly pass, then a phone call comes in, it takes up your screen, so you cannot see your navigation instructions. you either miss your exit or you have to move your attention from the road to the touchpad. I am not sure if this is android issue or the car's issue. Also, I set my phone to don't disturb, incoming calls still ring in this car anyway. 4. the blind spot warning feature drives me bananas. when I turn left there is another car turning left too in the lane left to me. this thing would not quit beeping! as a good drive you would check around for issues... oh, well, you will get used to it. but it still annoying 5. adaptive cruise control problem. sometimes the road shoots up (sharp uphill), and this feature will smash on your brake with no car in front of you whatsoever... 6. the A/C is so economical, its presence is hardly felt. in the summer, when you set it to 20C automatic, you will be sweating. in the winter, it is cold when with the same settings. 7. the windshield wiper defrosting feature isn't working during winter. It is supposed to make sure the wiper blade is free of ice. what I have are two ice pops in front of me. 8. as a luxury car, it doesn't auto-dim the mirrors. moving from Q5 and G35, this is the first feature I noticed lacking. 9. the drive mode dial is so big, and right in the center, it wastes so much space that could otherwise be used by useful buttons or displays. 10. no roof rails. unlike most SUVs in the market, this car doesn't come with roof rails. you'd need to pay for it. then you need to buy crossbars too. just in case you are like me, who needs to carry skis or other stuff otherwise cannot fit in the car itself. if you don't care about anything above, this is not a bad car. If you like driving or need to tow a bit more stuff, there are better and safer suvs out there.
