Jetta 1.9 diesel still Rocks!
By ManateJim on

Vehicle

2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI 4dr Sedan (1.9L 4cyl Turbodiesel 5M)

Review

Jetta sedan and wagon versions with 1.9 diesel Turbo-Direct-Injection, yield 42 mpg in town with smooth 5 overdrive manual shift. Leather package, definate plus.

Favorite Features

Diesel engine runs 10000 miles between oil changes. Manual trans timing belt runs 60000 miles between belt changes.

Suggested Improvements

Jetta with fog lights, OnStar, HomeLink and 2 inches more front leg and head room in diesel model, would draw me into buying the wagon.
