    You may have already gotten this info. but I thought it might be of general interest. In 1999 GM went to a mechanical differential for the full time 4 wd Bravada rather than the hydraulic that predated those vehicles.     Picked up my 2002 Bravada this past Saturday. Black/Pewter, Bose, Heated Seats, Sunroof, Convenience Pkg. Sprung for a Lojack and Digital Remote Start. The car is very comfortable, quiet, rides beautifully, very powerful, handles nicely, excellent brakes, surprising turning radius. I would not have opted for the Bose given a choice, but am I ever so glad I got it! What awesome sound! No problems so far: mirrors don't wander off ... Read More

    Could it be a fuel injector? Or perhaps a relay? A fuel pressure regulator? My 2000 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle has an emission control device that will click loudly sometimes. My 2000 Lincoln LS had a cold click that was an injector. Not fixed, still no problem. Goes away when warm. My 1999 Ford F150 5.4 V8 sounded like a Diesel when cold.
