I have a 1990 Nissan Four Seasons roof rack, new in box, that I never installed, because the next Pathfinder I owned had a factory rack. It is rated at 80 lbs and will fit a 2 dr or 4 dr Pathfinder. It has adjustable cross bars and suggests that it will accomodate optional ski and bike attachments. Does anyone know the year range that this rack will work on? I ... Read More

My wife wanted a Forester..excellent vehicle, but the Pathy is just an awesome car...creature comforts, strength, and incredible reliability. The 3.5 motor is an engineering acheivement IMHO and Ward's World agrees. With 90K, the car has had road miles...commuter stuff. Just assure its gotten ... Read More

Hi I just purchased a 2002 Pathfinder a couple of days ago and have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer. 1/ Air conditioning system doesn't seem to be as cold as my old "freon system" in my last vehicle. Is this because of the new environmental coolant now being used ? 2/ Need to install a class 111 hitch to pull my boat. The dealers price is the same ... Read More

  • Nissan Pathfinder/Terrano brake problem (1990)

    Written by: bloggs1 on Mar 3, 2001 7:50:41 PM

The brake pedal is spongy and sinks to the floor. It has new master cylinder, vacuum booster, disc pads. Re-machined discs. It has been repeatedly bled thoroughly. The calipers have been taken off and checked for leaks and smoothness of function (not sticking or binding). There is no fluid loss and no leaks. The master cylinder has had the 3 lines disconnected and the ports plugged. The problem disappears (therefore no ... Read More
