2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible Touring 2dr Roadster (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

Review

It is just about the perfect toy. I love it. My friends love it. It has the hottest look. I actually like it more than my previous SL500. My only real complaint is the door must be opened very wide to enter and exit; you can't get out unless there is a lot of room between you and the next car.

Best Features

The naviagation system, which is supposedly the reason my car arrrived so late, is just awsome! It's a 3-D image from a bird's eye view.

Worst Features

Redesign the door to make easier to get out in a normal parking position. Make the convertible top a one button open/close. Hey, nobody likes the black brake dust. Get rid of it!

2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible Touring 2dr Roadster (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

it is soooo fun to drive and you'll always get a look, even from other convertible drivers. It should have been an 8 cylinder but you can't have your cake and eat it to. The only thing I don't really like is the breaking on this car. It doesn't seem to break smoothly. Besides that buy it!

Best Features

convertible top down at night with the dash all lit up and the NAV glowing. Great sound system driving down AIA looking at the women

Worst Features

needs better breaks. And a V-8 Engine. No fun against some of the newer V-8 engined cars out there.

Review

After much deliberation and comparison, the Z offered much for a reasonable deal...complete with fire under the hood, sex appeal, and rarity. Improvements can be made in the regions of more low end torque, a less notchy shifter, softer ride, and better interior materials. The benefits though are overwhelming...very stable even at blinding accelleration, stunning in appearance, taut, muscular, beautiful exhaust note, quick retractable roof and like most impressive physical specimens, gorgeous with its top off.

Best Features

The Looks, the stability at speed, accelleration...fits like a cockpit..for Bond.

Worst Features

More low end torque, bigger tires and rims standard, top should be lined thicker for people noise and temperature control. Perhaps more creative use of interior storage like the door panels and a glove box in the future.

Review

I purchased my Z new in March of 2003. The dealership (Thopmson Nissan in Doylestown, PA) is the best in terms of service which is why I bought it there. The problem is inherent in the vehicle though. Ever since I bought it, I get so much excess road noise, from the car being inherently out of alignment, that it's just not as fun to drive as I thought it would be. In fact thousands of Z owners have the same opinion who have 2003 year models.

Best Features

Rounded back end of car.

Worst Features

Tires, alighment, reduce road noise
