hey im new to this forum I have a 1997 mitsubishi montero (not a sport) and i recently dented the driver side door and driver side fender. I purchased a new door and fender and put the parts on and was wondering if i could take the speaker out of the door make a box for it and hook it up inside the vehicle. the only problem is i dont know ... Seems to be similar problem re: 4X4 light flashing, 4X4 not engaging after changing cables, spark plug wires. Tried to track down "PT # MR263723" 'Freewheel Clutch Solenoid Valve' thru Kragen, no luck. Also checked Mitsubishi website. Can someone confirm part #/description and elaborate on what this part does and why it would fail? Possibly related to work on ignition system? Oh, and where to find it? Appreciated. It is very relevent if you are considering the purchase of a Montero or trying to sell one. We can debate the testing all day long, but the reality is that the resale value of Montero's is heading south fast, unless Mitsubishi can do a "quick fix". In the next few months, sales are going to plummet 50% or more. Their going to have to move inventory which means steep discounts. ... Read More
