2003 Maserati Coupe GT 2dr Coupe (4.2L 8cyl 6M)

Review

We installed a Tubi exhaust at the dealer before taking delivery. It made a Gransport before the Gransport concept was invented. The car went from 390 hp to 420 hp and it is music to the ears. This is a wonderful car to own and drive.

Favorite Features

The exhaust note, torque, and bow there are oh so few on the road.

Suggested Improvements

Continue to make the vintage package available.

2003 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa 2dr Coupe (4.2L 8cyl 6AM)

Review

Where else can you drive a new, hand built, Italian Exotic with a V8 source Ferrari engine and F1 shifting technology for under $90,000? If you want exhilarating performance, Italian head turning styling and exclusivity, then you owe it to yourself to check out this car. You won't be disappointed. I've owned Porsches, Mercedes and BMWs and this car is by far the most fun to drive and turns more heads than anything else I've ever driven.

Favorite Features

The Ferrari V8 engine, F1 shifting technology, Jaeger Le-Coultre designed guages (for watch guys, you'll understand), exclusivity, and the overall interior (there's leather everywhere you look).

Suggested Improvements

For the US consumer to catch on and start holding up the resale value of this car. You can buy 2002 and 2003 models for close to $50,000. This car for $50,000 is a joke. Nothing comes close to touching it at that price.

2003 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa 2dr Coupe (4.2L 8cyl 6AM)

Review

I've had this car for a year now. Great fun to drive. Had the opportunity to go to a high speed driving coure last spring where you got to drive your own car on a closed track with a driving instructor. None of the instructors had drive a F1 Maserati before. Beside my driving this car at over 125 mph on the straights and 60mph turns, the instructors asked to drive it. They were all very impressed. They rated its performance with the 200K Far, AMartin, Porsh, etc. I have been very pleased. Its a keeper

Favorite Features

F1 shifter, terrific accleration ,but even better-GREAT stopping power, good ride much smoother than Por or Far.

Suggested Improvements

My Brakes squeel intermittently- embarrasing when coming to a stop light and your 100K car squeels like a junk. NEEDS A BETTER SOUND SYSTEM-ITS POOR, could use 2 cup holders. AND IMPROVE THE NAV SYS!-its only fair at best. But get this car for its performance & ignore the little issues

2003 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa 2dr Coupe (4.2L 8cyl 6AM)

Review

Very quick, Good torque, I got the Tubi exhaust it is great. Gas mileage is what they predict about 11 per. It gets a lot of stares and the girls like it.

Favorite Features

The F1 transmission. Air conditioner is very cold. Great brakes. Beautiful leather work. The metallic black paint (nuvo nero carbonia) is beautiful as is the Cuoio (dark tan) interior. The skyhook suspension and the Xenon lights are not to be overlooked.

Suggested Improvements

Needs two cup holders. Needs a better radio (Get an XM) Also needs an integral phone, hands free and an up link like "On Star."

Review

cambiocorsa transmission (F1 style paddleshift behind steering wheel) is a definite plus over the manual. Shifts are quick, but they need some getting used to (take off your foot from the accelarator whenever shifting), but once this is mastered, what a blast to drive. Ferrari engine & transmission, Brembus brakes, italian workmanship for a the price of a S500 - take it any day.

Favorite Features

exquisite interior leather - attention to detail
