    try the driveshaft, only takes a few to take out, i replaced a lot of parts, sound is there but gets louder when giving gas, sounds like its screamin, hope this helps

    was your )2 sensor recently (3 years) replaced? Mine did the exact same thing. I had a "universal" )2 sensor put in. It shorted out and fried my computer. Have them check that and clean all sensors. Good luck.

I disconnected the cables to the battery, reconnected them about 30 minutes later and voila. Heat. Shut it off and 10 minutes later, no heat.     i have a 2003 jeep grand cherokee with a 4.0l. when put into reverse regardless of appling brakes or not the truck makes a very very loud squeek also. i have traced it to the transmisssion or transfer case, but cannot figure out what it is. it drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!

    My 2004 GC just had it's 3rd set of replacement front rotors put on it in less than 4 years. Each set seems to last 1 year. The latest ones lasted only 6,000 miles. Jeep knows they had a bad brake system in 2003 and earlier. My jeep was manufactured prior to June, 2003.

    I have a Jeep 2003 Grand Cherokee as well. I am having the same power steering noise. I called the dealer because I have the 84 month/70,000 mile warranty. They told me the power steering is NOT covered but their "parts and service" partner MAY be able to help. They recommend I bring it in so they can check it out. Wonder how much this will be!!!!
