I have a 2005 Infiniti Q45 and would like to know if there is anyway to turn off the rearview camera (when the car is put in reverse) on a temporary basis. If some one can help it will be greatley appreciated thanks Milt

1993 Q45 vibration around 2000 rpm

My 2003 Q45 makes a loud droning noise caused by some kind of vibration between 1,800 and 2,100 rpm, and has the same sound in any of the five gears, so it is not road speed related. My dealer has replaced the Y-pipe and catalytic converters, as well as adjusting and tightening the exhaust heat shields numerous times. I am trying to decide among a new Q45, LS 430, and Audi A8. I am mainly interested in comfort and lack of noise, rather than performance. Also, by way of background, I have a 1994 Q45 which I like a lot, but I have had terrible experiences with one bad dealer and, more to the point, with Infiniti/Nissan USA. The M45 is the car thats about to be replaced. Once it actually hits dealerships in another 2 months, except sales to increase 10 fold at least. The I35 is dead for 2005, so there's really no mess anymore. For what its worth, I've actually seen two Q45s not in an Infiniti dealership.
