2012 SE V6. Much better than my '06 Fusion, in some areas.

2012 Ford Fusion SE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
My first Ford Fusion was a 2006 SEL V6, which I got in the summer of '09 with 60k miles. Let me say, it had an amazing ride, sound system, nice leather and decent fuel economy. I did not have one problem with it at all until 108k miles when it died in the middle of rush hour. Engine coils went out, causing many other things to go wrong. Short story, traded out. Got 5 grand for it (amazing because of the body work it needed from an accident i didn't fix and 2600 worth of engine repairs). Traded for a 2012 SE V6 with the Sun & Sync package and Monochrome appearance package. Amazing drive feel and ride. Very satisfied so far. I do miss my 06 though, it had leather and a much better audio system
PROPER HEADROOM!! When I had my hair spiked in my previous Fusion, I would have to tilt my head to fit without crushing my hair. Not in this one, it has ample headroom :) Sync is very useful, and quite intuitive. I LOVE the monochrome package. Pretty much it gets rid of the chrome in the front. It also adds very attractive 18" wheels and a sport suspension. So now it's pretty much a Sport model with better fuel economy. I love how it drives; it has a very sporty feel. ALSO, Ford offers a 5 year/100k mile extended warranty, and yes I bought it. Wanna know why? 3 year/36k miles aren't worth [violative content deleted] and here's the real reason. Free (well, included) oil changes for the entire length of the warranty
Ford, if you're going to use aluminum trim inside a car, make it a solid color. Not cheap plastic crap with dots all over it. Also, this car is supposed to have the same sound system as my '06 but doesn't sound nearly as good. Same 6 speaker set up, but my old one didn't distort at high volumes like this one does. I'm not sure if its just a break in period or what, but I'm quite disappointed. I'm planning on updating the sound system if it doesn't void my warranty. Upgrading to HID's soon, not sure why it's not an option in this day and age. Hate the taillights. They're just hideous. Looks like a darn bee hive. Spoiler helps the rear end 'appeal' tremendously. I'm glad mine has one.
