  Get a muffler repair kit from an auto parts store. That will stop the noise for a few years or untill find the part.

  Hi, I am from PEI and also own a Daewoo Lanos 2002, 1.5. I am wondering if you could tell me where I could buy parts for this type of car? I am in need of a timing belt and cant seem to find one anywhere. You mentioned that Mitsubishi were great for customer service, were they able to provide you with any parts? Thank you

  I recently replaced the timing belt on a 2002 Daewoo Lanos and it too runs great on the road but the idle is rough. In addition the check engine light came on and stays on. Any ideas? I could not get the water pump off, and one of the bolts for the tensioner was behind the valve sprocket. Totally inaccessible.
