2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
I up graded to a Silverado 2500 to tow an RV. The Ford 250 had a nicer interior but rode too rough. I got the 6 liter gas so I didn't have to mess with DEF and it was $10k cheaper. I got the LTZ. The truck pulled a 9000lb trailer like it wasn't there. Then in 22 I traded for a 5th wheel that weighed in at 17,000 lbs. I considered trading for a 3500, but decided to roll the dice and … pull the 5th wheel from Ilinois to Phoenix with the 2500. No problem; I installed Timbrens where the bump stocks were and the truck remained level. Aside from some higher RPMs on the grades, the truck handled the big trailer with no problem. The LTZ has nice features, but it would be nice to have the top-down 360 view to assist parking maneuvers. Total reliability so far at 40,000 miles. I get about 14-15 mph overall not towing.
