I've had the battery (Interstate) replaced, ignition ok, generator ok, etc. Voltmeter used as well as diagnosis machine with no luck in isolating apparent short in electrical system.   I read that the type of Anti-Freeze GM was using at the time was corrosive and caused the Intake Gaskets to fail, which lead to Anti-Freeze leaks. Make sure you use Ethylene Glycol (Green) anti-freeze, and not Dexcool (Blue Anti-freeze) Other than that I've had a Buick for close to 3 years, A 1994 Century Custom with a 3.1l v6.   1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove mount retaining nuts from below frame mounting bracket. 2. Remove transaxle mount nuts, then install suitable engine support fixture. 3. Raise engine only enough to provide clearance for mount removal. 4. Remove mount to engine bracket nuts, then mount 5. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.   Anyone??? I am planning on working on it this weekend since the weather will be gorgeous. Just want to know if I have to somehow support the motor from the bottom (like raising it a bit) or if I can just undo the bolts, take the old one out and put the new one in.   My mom's 2001 Buick Century had the problem with intermittant brake loss. The brakes would work fine one time, then go clear to the floor the next. You never knew when you had brakes. Our mechanic was very frustrated, but finally found that the inner pad on one of the calipers had collapsed inside the caliper. Apparently, they usually fall clear out if they fail.   Have a 94 buick century 3100 sfi. Noticed the temperature gauge up in the very high normal range. Found that the fans were not kicking on. There is no signal voltage going to the relays.   Checked the cooling fan relay and it's fine. The wiring diagram shows a 10 amp in line fuse which I suspect is the culprit. Does any one know where this in line fuse is located? Is it near or above the PCM/ECM behind the dashboard? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

  1994 buick century left front wheel not relasing all the way and runs hot if out on highway. I have replaced both the caliper and brake hose twice just in case I got a bad one the first time. I can not figure out why the caliper will not release the brake fully like the other side. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

  I had an overheating problem too on my buick century 1994 (41000 original miles). Had the radiator flushed. The light would still come on from time to time. Took it back to the shop they changed the thermostat. They also reflushed the radiator, because after they flushed it the first time they put some kind of cleaner in it and that really cleaned it but at the same time caused a ... Read More

  My situation is #67 of 73. I just got my car out of the shop for the tail lights not working. Have your headlight switch, and the connector checked. It fixed my problem.
