Used 2022 Volvo XC60 Consumer Reviews
3 days old and the car is dead
Ran for three days and then decided to not start. had it towed to the dealer, who asked if i had an appointment! When I called in the afternoon to see if they had even looked at the car, he again stated, "well you didn't have an appointment". I guess I should have scheduled the car dying at a more convenient time for the dealer! aside from the POS car, the dealer service is the worst I've ever dealt with

2022 Volvo XC60 Plug-in hybrid future lemon
Just leased it in April 2022. Switched from a BMW X3 because wife liked the design of the XC60 better. Electric battery stopped charging and vehicle completely died. Won’t start gasoline engine. Remote control didn’t work. Tried to jump started but didn’t charge. Got it towed to the dealer and was told they had to special order part (high voltage coolant heater) and it would take a week for the part to arrive. Worst new vehicle I’ve had in 20 years. I thought Volvos were reliable. Guess not anymore. Stay away from Volvo!

Worst purchase
I got the vehicle in April and have had it in the shop 4 times now with no repair in sight. The computer system seems to have a bug and the techs at the dealership were not prepared to fix the vehicle. I was very excited to purchase my first Volvo and have had such poor follow up from Volvo since this vehicle has been a disaster. I just want my money back.

Brand new lemon
I purchased an xc60 extended plug in on 4/30. Within 48 hours of purchasing this brand new ev it was diagnosed with a failed erad. Three weeks later and the car is still in the service department with no eta of when the backordered part will be available from the factory. It’s in operable till the part is replaced. I’m so disappointed that Volvo brought an ev to the marketplace with the inability to make repairs due to a lack of available parts. Customer cares most current communication in this whole ordeal is, “ We truly apologize for the delay, the Executive Team is experiencing higher than usual delays; we will follow up with you as soon as we receive a response.”

2 months in I love it
2 months in and about 3,000 miles and we love it. First point, the EPA mileage estimate is too low. We are currently averaging around town with a combination of city and highway driving 27.6 mpg. Second, the Google assistant is the bomb. It’s responsive and well integrated. Third, it drives beautifully. A real nice firm feel to the handling and steering and a smooth, but not isolating ride. Fourth, the seats and interior are stunning. I just did 325 miles in it and it was a breeze Fifth, the driver assist system is just wild. It practically drives itself and is wonderful in commuter traffic. Downside? The kick trigger on the tailgate is a little hit and miss. I’ll update in a few months. Oh and I absolutely love the looks and subtle refinements of the ‘22
